Biography
Despite a loving mother, Vex grew up believing that he was an abomination. His father was a wolf and his mother was a fox. His father's pack shunned him and as a result, he lived alone on the outskirts of the pack's territory. After the sudden death of his mother, which was caused by a member of his father's wolf pack, Vex set out to brave the world on his own.
It wasn't long before he met Eclipse, a she-wolf that would later become his mate and alpha female. Eclipse taught him how to embrace his wolf side. He even learned how to accept himself because of her.
Vex now lives in the rich lands within the Amber River. When the time comes, he'll raise his pups the way he wished he had been.

Vex has a dark side of his mind that never seems to go away. 'Your not worthy of being alpha' and 'Don't burden your pups with your fox DNA' were things that ran through his mind daily. As a result, Vex is extremely hard on himself when it comes to his alpha duties or his responsibility to his mate.
Regardless of how much self-doubt he has, Vex has never snapped on his mate or anyone in the pack who didn't deserve it. He knows that isn't the way to run a pack.
Vex wasn't much of a romantic guy either, but he made sure to show affection to his mate every single day. A lot of the time it would just be small touches and licks, but when he did get those rare moments to relax with his mate, he was showering her in kisses and snuggles.
Preferences
Vex's favorite prey is elk. There's something about hunting the large, antlered animal that makes his blood run. The danger in the hunt makes the feast all the more rewarding.
Unlike most wolves, Vex enjoys the afternoon sun. The warmth the sun provided reminded him of his late mother. The sun is also the reason he enjoys the summer season.
Vex would never admit it, but his favorite way to pass the time was with his mate. Even of he didn't say much, the bond he shared with Eclipse was enough to sweeten his sour mood or relaxed his tensed up muscles.
Special Skills
Not many know this, but Vex is a master with his words. Maybe it was his deep voice, or the words themselves, but his charisma remained unmatched within the pack. Of course this was a skill he's developed over time, but if anyone can break up an altercation or settle a war between two wolves, it was Vex.
