I wouldn't diagnose someone with an infected wound without looking at it.

If it's that recent, they need stronger pain medication and better advisement on wound care.

If you've actually been shot, crying from the pain is pretty logical... it's like.. a gunshot wound, so.

I don't know any doctor that would tell you to shower right after either since it's crucial the wound stays dry until it closes and it's likely packed and sutured.

All I can do is wait it out. I can't massage it unless I'm in an almost too hot shower otherwise it hurts too much to touch. It should go away in a couple days, but I don't think I've ever been in so much pain from a shit before. It's not like they can do anything about it either

No I got a shot yesterday and the nurse was a little rough. It hurt more than it should have and now my shoulder hurts more than it should
