Biography
Symphony crept beside her alpha male, Jexter. The two were pair-bonded, with no pups yet. Together they advanced towards the farm, ready to steal a lamb for dinner. They kept low with a northern wind so their smell wouldn't be noticed. Without warning, the sheepdog began to bark loudly. The farmer yelled and pulled out his shotgun, firing at them. They both yelped and turned away, running. Jexter was hit and fell to the ground. He had been caught behind the ear. There was no chance he survived. Symphony kept running, swerving between trees to avoid the bullets. One just barely grazed her, taking off a chunk of her ear. She yelped in pain and kept running until she made it to the clearing and the farmer was out of sight.
Panting, she looked around. Jexter was dead, and she had nobody else. She had to find herself a new pack. Winter was coming, and she wouldn't survive on her own.
