Puppy-Hood
A small pup excitedly wiggles around with his sisters. The pack swarms around happily, talking and celebrating.
The pup curls into his mother, sticking his head between her front paws, receiving a coo from the pack.
Early Scent of Death
Moti was awoken by the distressed cries of his pup mate. His mother nudged his grandparents- nothing came of them. He whimpered with Raisa. Their families, gone- but he felt worse for her. She lost her mother.
The pup joined the distressed pack mate, allowing the adults to solve the problem.
Return From Hunting
Moti had to flee from battle, leaving his future mate, Raisa, to finish the hunt. He felt guilty for leaving, but obeyed her order to get home and stay safe.
Resting on his side, exhausted, and injured, Moti licked his injured paw.
The sun warmed his wet fur, while the others rested in the shade, awaiting the Beta Female's return.
A gentle head settled on Moti's neck making his tail thump against the dirt.
"Are you alright?" Raisa asked softly.
"I'm alright. Just hurts," Moti sighed.
"I'll get you something to help soon," Raisa promised.
Moti turned his head, trying to reach Raisa, but he couldn't. However, The Beta Female licked his muzzle sweetly.
"Now rest," She said, wagging her tail slowly.
The Alpha's Rule
Son of the Alpha, grandson of the Grand Alpha, Moti was especially reminded of the burden it can be to have a pack's well being in his paws.
The biggest thing that he was reminded of as he grew was the Alpha's Rule. A long list of regulations specified for an Alpha, shortened into the two word title.
And a small part of that rule has been broken by his mother- twice. Mating before becoming an Alpha.
He was to follow those footsteps soon enough.
Future Father
Moti and Raisa were to be parents, yet their pack was uninformed, however, Raisa would start to show her signs soon enough.
He paced around in thought. A father.... I'm going to be a father.... How will Alpha feel? Will she be content- or will she be mad with me? Will she take it out on Raisa?
A soft bump on his shoulder took him from his thoughts. There, Raisa stood calmly, her tail wagging.
"We'll be alright, Moti. Alpha will be there for us."
Broken Heart
They were gone... overnight- his mother, his love... gone. The two wolves he has grown up with were gone. His son was the only remains of Raisa he had. Now the pup needed a name- but heÂ’d never be an Alpha.
His son was meek, shy, and rather unthreatening.
