Apache sat at the canyon cliff as he tilted his head back he let out a long soulful howl, as he let his head come back down he felt the breeze ruffle his fur so he stood watching the sun. He felt as if he wasn't alone this haunted him he understood he had been a special wolf due to how strong he was when he was born. He watched as the sunset turned in to night, walking back he jumped down the rocks at least a meter apart.
He let himself fall down as he landed on his feet he bent down to the water, lapping up some of the spring water, he than ran to the forest he would soon find the place he wished to, the place of spirits so many elders spoke of.
A few days had passed as he traveled beginning to loose hope he lost his footing and fell into the water. He soon realized he had found it, he had found his true home. Seeing a pack had claimed it he asked if he could join the alphas were discussing it.
"We are sorry young one but-" A black, white, and cream female with a brown saddle like marking cut the alpha male off.
"Oh come on Leo he's so young and look at him he's stronger than you! So let him join he has so many years left."
He looked at her surprised she had cut off her own alpha for him?
"Very well Hermosa you're the beta female and you need to make decisions, so I will let him stay."
She nudged the male to follow her, "quick before he changes his mind!" She teased and ran off signaling him to follow.
