-WP Click- Didn't think I'd ever actually like the beta female pose, but this gear and decor combo just makes the pose look stunning *^*
Moonfall
Imma go, my cat is tracking something and it's either a small bug on the wall or a large something IN the wall. The house is over 100 so it could be either 🤷

@Cae That's pretty much exactly how I feel about the possible eventual situation

moon, yeah, for one (1) afternoon :') it did bring in a bit of relief, but also Humidity >.< desti, oh hell no, ai doing surgeries?? no thanks, id rather perish from whatever that surgery might fix o.o
Caeruleum
if the ai was developed for greater good, how would the rich profit off of it? how would big pharma profit if everyone was Not Sick? how would politicians be able to keep lying to their masses if said masses werent dumb and didnt need llm ai to spoon feed them answers it thinks they want? theres so many layers to ai hate, but talking about it with ai users always boils down to "it saves me time though!" and "whats one image i generate gonna do to the world" >:(
Destinations End
@Cae Medical ai is okay in some cases for me personally. I just don't want it to get too tne point ai is used for things like surgery or MRIs and things like that. But I really fear it's going to eventually come to that. That's good to hear that you got some rain between the heat waves

I think genuine AI, the kind that can help people, run billions of potential cures against genomes and figure that out faster than people are dying, and the kind that can spot things that takes decades or centuries or even several hundred lifespans to notice, that's going to be useful. We don't have that though. We think we do because we've trained it to make us think we do when in reality it's just a collage of words/images There are so many things a computer can "do" but it can't really, not yet. Cause the art and music and output doesn't have soul, or that spark that makes flesh and blood. Until it can without putting millions-billions of people in jeopardy (by poisoning water, putting out pleasing answers, etc), we won't have that. And that is a long long way off. Hopefully that makes sense

we did have a big thunderstorm yesterday and it cooled us down quite a lot, but that was a short relief between two heatwaves, so we still fry XD
Caeruleum
generative ai is pure bullshit, llms make people too reliant on them and quite frankly, stupid. ive had kids to a powerpoint about whatever they wanted, and they coundnt do it without chatgpt ;-; medical ai i do support as a tool to help human doctors. remember the story about japanese bakery having ai to recognize what products were in the heap, and that ai same turned out to have i think 98 or 99 percent accuracy in detecting cancer from images? more of that, please
