Biography
His first memory was of scent. His mother. His siblings. Then scents new. Scents come from outside this dark den of gnarled roots. Perhaps their pack his mother had spoken of? The pack he yet to meet. He wanted to meet them. Oh, did he want to meet them! Each of them.
Kicking his siblings back from the teat he greedily attached to, the pup's milky blue eyes drawn toward the alluring aperture of outside light. A place yet to explore. He want it. He know his mother would never allow, for she had blocked his every attempt before. It unfair. She herself disappear into the lighted world each day. He want no less.
His sister squeak with joy as he pull back from the pile of nursing pups. To his horror, she quickly push in and take the teat that was his. He want bite her... But that risk wake their mother. Licking last drops of milk from his sticky wet muzzle, contemplate: Curiosity of food? Which worth more? Shaking his small head with soft sneeze, bare tiny teeth. He hate having to choose. But choose he mush, and curiosity win.
Carefully he crawl away from his sleeping mother, keeping watch of the rise and fall of her creamy belly to be sure she not awaken. Ever nearing the outside world. The world of light.
Blue eyes blink furiously as he step into the sunlight. Tiny tail swing with joy and excitement. So many new scents, sounds, sights flood his young senses. In the distance two dark forms, their hackles spiked, noses to the ground.
The pup start stumble toward these new enormous playmates, when one notice him. The lurid look in that dark wolf's eyes stop the pup cold in his tracks. Shiver course his small spine. All trust fade.
One of the strangers rush at him. A sudden growl from his den behind. His mother! Had she noticed he not with the rest?
The stranger lunge, nearly atop the pup the pup when creamy belly soar over him. In a flash of fur and fang rage a sudden battle before him. The pup shrink back, but a set of unknown teeth take hold of him.

What happen afterward that night now a blur. Surely what else he remember from his adventure not memory at all, but mere delusion, a dream. He had survived, that what mattered. Though his mother had not. He afterward survive even the great famine, while watch as many more of his family fall to it, including the sister he had come to love.
Now, an alpha himself, Red Aurora remain determine that none in his pack shall ever be lost again. What ever it take. No never again.
