Biography The harsh winter wind whistled through the den. A tiny brown fae laid balled in the warmest corner. Little whimpers come from inside her well tucked ball. A white blur came from the whirling snow outside. A tall yellow eyed male stood in front of her. She weakly pulled her head up smelling the blood that stained his coat. He dropped a tiny rat next to her. Slowly moving, she began to tear into it. "It's all I could find." Albion's, the white male, voice boomed through the empty cave. "It's perfect Albion." Elsha's, the brown fae, small voice whispered. It was obvious the two loved each other deeoly. Just watching them look at each other. "How are they." Albion said in a hushed voice. Elsha turned her face to her stomach. "They still breathe if that's what your asking, but they grow weaker everyday." "As do you." Albion said.
Elsha was a noble wolf from the desert. She had never been in a environment quite like this one. She left her land to be with Albion. He and his hunting party brought exotic foods from their land to the desert. She had never seen a white wolf before. Albion had never seen a fae with beauty such as Elsha. When they began to talk it was clear they both wanted, needed to know more of each other. A year later he convinced her to come back to his tribe. The snow land was new to her, but beautiful all the same.
This is the worst winter his tribe has ever seen. They have already lost many of their own wolves. Most young. Elsha wasn't built for this. Not to mention the newborns suckling at her stomach. Albion knew he could survive this, but he worried about his new family.
"I found her." Albion whispered. Elsha's eyes widened "Is she coming." "I don't know she looked busy." He replied. They both helplessly lowered their heads. Then the rattling of bones caught their attention. The dechtire stepped into the den. Her coat was soot black. Her eyes a deep red. Elsha wanted to move. To stand and bow in her presence. But she was to weak so she lowered her head instead. Albion bowed welcoming her in. The dechtire was the most important wolf in the tribe. "I warned your father many would fall this winter if he did not leave. He was to stubborn." She had a deep accent, and her voice was lulling. Something that sounded just as dangerous as it did beautiful. Albion stood knowing she was waiting on him. "It's the pup's" Albion said swaying his head towards Elsha. The dechtire walked over the bones around her neck and flank clanking together. A white wolf pelt covered her back. Elsha moved releasin the pups from the protective ball she had formed. The dechtire took a deep breath before her eyes turned white. Elsha's eyes widened in fear. She had never seen anything like it. Albion met her gaze nodding assuring her everything was alright.
The dechtire gasped as her eyes turned back to its red color. She looked at Elsha with saddened eyes. "They will not survive the cold." The dechtire said turning away from her. "No!" Elsha yelled. "There has to be something. Anything" The dechtire turned back to her. "There is only one thing I can do. If you agree, no one can know. The wolves call that work the devil's magic. You would all be shunned." "We understand, what do we have to do." Albion said walking over to Elsha. The dechtire sat in front of the pups. "You may pick one. From what I saw, the girl was the strongest. She outlasted both boys." Albion and Elsha looked at each other. How could they choose. "We can't choose." Elsha said with tears filling her eyes. "Then you both leave. I'll pick, but the second part will be the hardest of the choices. If I do this the pup will come with me after her 3rd year of life to become the next dechtire and will spend 5 year's training with me then the rest of her life being a dechtire traveling the land where they are needed." "Three years! That's all we will have with our pup after loosing the other two!" Elsha yelled angrily Albion stepped in front of Elsha. "Its better then loosing all three before spring starts. We accept. Please make it quick for the other two."
" I would never bring pain to them." The dechtire said defensively. As the two left the dechtire laid in front of them. The two males were barely alive. Starvation is so painful. She chanted words before sticking her noes to both males and bre
