Born blind, Ochira has to struggle to survive. Hunting all but the smallest or weakest of prey is beyond her abilities, and she is hard-pressed to stand her ground in a fight despite her physical size. So she protects herself with harsh words and a quick temper, being sure to strike before she is struck, kill before she is killed.
She never allows anyone to see below her guard. So she remains the nasty, violent wolf on the outskirts.
