Biography
I never participated in the choosing festival like all the other wolves. My mother was the daughter of an alpha, who in a fit of rage left her home pack. Little did she know then that her little fling with one of the neighbors pack Omegas would lead to me and my brother.
My brother and I were born during the winter, we were said to have had a sister as well, but she never breathed. Those first few days were brutal, Imwas constantly cold as my mother coddled my brother, favoring him because his defect make he seem weaker. It wasn't too long after then, when I started eating real food, that mother and brother left without a trace.
I was scared and alone, with no where to go and little training on how to hunt. I was determined to live through this harsh winter, as I started tracking rabbits and small mice. Hunting came naturally to me, and it seemed nothing could here me approach no matter how hard I stepped. Later I would be told that I was blessed by the moon with a gift called Deadly Silent. I continued this lifestyle for a few more months until Spring hit, no longer hunting in the shadows while the food was plentiful.
I travelled a great ways over that winter and spring, usually staying away from any pack smells, unless absolutely necessary. That day was one of those necessary times. It was the middle of the night, when I entered the pack territory. At the time I was hoping the pack was Lightbringers, so they would all be asleep while I hunted. Luck was not in my favor today as I stumbled upon a young white wolf hunting by the moonlight. At first she pretended not to notice me, but I knew I wasn't fooling anyone. Slowly I began walking towards her head now, tail between my legs, being as small as wolfly possible. Stopping in front of the she wolf I lifted my head slightly to see her face. The expression was stern, yet her eyes were sympathetic. I didn't even get a word in to apologize for my trespassing when she spoke, "Come, the alphas have been waiting for you." I sat back on my haunches stunned, while th she wolf flicked her tail, " I haven't got all night", she mumbled. Seeing as my fate was set I followed the she wolf into the light not even knowing her name.
1 Year Later
That nighwas changed my life forever, I was taken to the Alphas by the white she wolf, who turned out to be the pack's Beta female Amarie. I told my story to the alphas of the pack Arrow and Brise who nodded along listening intently to my story of survival. After Imwas done they simply asked me my name. I didn't have a name, I asked them to give me a name so I could know who I was. It was Brise who named me Blackthorn. For the color of my coat and the pains I have survived. And to remind me that even the most gentle of wolves have their darker stories.
