He was watching. Of course he was watching. With eyes as keen as an eagles, with his pale nostrils cocked and flared, he watched. They hadn't seen him. They wouldn't if he had any say. His posture was smooth and low, perfectly poised and still to disappear into his surroundings. Situated along his spine a quiver full of nearly primitive arrows, along with the dangerous spines sat some fierce looking rods dangerous obsidian spines decorating their sides. His lower limbs were covered in intricately sewn and creased leather, old spatters of blood dried thick along the edge of one cuff. Around his neck a shimmer bullet, a human trophy and good luck charm.

Caliber turned his fine head, his great sapphire eyes burning deep into the dark recesses of the wood behind him. He lowered his head, releasing the knife from where he had slid it into the cuff of his front left foreleg. He heard something, heard something coming. They'd better be wary, and prove they are a friend, should they not no doubt that shimmering silvery blade would prick their flesh and drive deep. Dangerous was the hunter in all his keen glory. He was driven to pursue, born to hunt and kill. Wary his prey should be, for few could escape his clutches when he was on the scent.

As a song bird alighted on the branch in front of his crystalline eyes a particularly strange smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. As a friend, he was the best. As a enemy, he'd be the sort to end the feud with one stroke. Woe to the creature he set his mind against.
