Biography
"What is your query," Yvine snorted, her belly swollen with her first litter of pups in her new pack. They would be due any moon now, and the wolves were anxious to see what gifts they would bring.

"Your pups, are they well?" Kaya looked at her through slitted eyes, as though baiting her into a comfortable spot letting Yvine corner herself. The aging beta was still sharp in the mind, she knew this better than any.

"Very," Yvine said, a slight growl in her tone. "why?"

"How many?" The beta asked, ignoring her question.

"Three, if they're all healthy."

"Good, good." Kaya paced from one edge of the den to the other. There was something bothering the gray wolf, something she'd rather not admit to just any member of the pack. It was known that Yvine would have gifted pups given the assets of the father, they would make wonderful leaders of the pack one day if they made it through the winters.

"You want to bring one up as your apprentice," Yvine shifted a paw through the dirt. "Any other wolf would be honored to have such a request from the beta herself, but I do not want that for my pups."

There was nothing to stop Kaya from doing whatever she wanted with the young once Yvine had passed to the heavens. Such an event was inevitable, as she had only two more years until she would retire as an Elder to live out her days in peace. This would possibly be her first and last litter in the pack.

"Please, Yvine, there is no other wolf I would rather choose." The desperate in Kaya's voice grew more intense.

"I will leave the choice up to them when they are old enough to train-"

"Do not dissapoint me." Yvine ended with a glare.
