The stars shine in her eyes.
Even through the fog that shrouds her gaze and mind, something delicate and stunning shelters itself.
But the fog is thick. Quiet and tangible, it keeps the wondrous depths of her mind locked away, forever prison to the nightmares that guard the gates. Instead, out come the feelings of negativity.
Self-loathing.
Anxiety.
Jealousy.
Depression.
What others see as the light casting shadows on the ground, she finds them to be monsters, curling around her paws, snarling and screaming. She can't fight them; only watch as they tear her life apart, piece into piece into piece...
A scrap of friendship floats away.
Another page of love is torn away from her heart.
She's gone. Emotions stripped away, voices taunting her, she is nothing other than an emotionless female, unusual - no, abnormal - to her packmates, unseeing, unknowing, silent.
