Gypsies had taken him from his mother when a young pup. They raised him for the purpose of fighting dogs, but no matter what they did, he just couldn't fight or kill the dogs they put him in the ring with. Most of the time he would be the one getting hurt.
The Gypsies finally gave up on him when one of the dogs had tore into him leaving him on the brink of death. They just left him cold and injured.
Determined to live, Isaac found the strength to rise to his feet. Over time, he taught himself how to hunt and to survive in the forests of the strange forests that the Gypsies had discarded him near before travelling on.
During one of his ventures, he had come across a lone female wolf named Amber. Even though both had tramatic beginnings,they had come together protecting one another.

Zephyr challenged him, and he lost. He expected Zephyr to banish him, but instead he allowed him to stay. In Isaac's mind that was a mistake, for he would challenge him to be by Amber's side once again.
