Biography

Her parents named her, "Devika," meaning Little Goddess. It is the only kind thing they would ever do for her.
She was born into a healthy pack, with a healthy litter. It became obvious around 6 weeks of age that Devika wasn't like the rest of the pups. There was something different about her.
She wasn't a healthy puppy, with a runny nose all the time and issues breathing. And then the bigger she got, the stranger the shape of her mouth became.
Her parents hadn't known what the strange disease was that could be causing it, but they came to the conclusion very quickly that Devika was not going to survive puppyhood, and they couldn't keep wasting all their resources on her. So they took her off into the woods, and left her.
They expected that she would die from dehydration, or take another animal would pick her off. But neither happened. And Devika, miraculously survived. All on her own, for 5 years.
But she grew up stunted, and quickly forgot her old pack, and her old life.
By the time she wandered into Lune and Braun's territory she was almost completely feral. She couldn't comunicate, and was terrified of the whole pack.
They were able to look beyond it though, and beyond her defect, and she joined the pack. She made quick friends with both Faolan, and especially Dusk, who also could not
communicate. They shared a private bond.
Over time, she learned to communicate and talk more, and now she is a mostly functioning member of the pack. And they love her and protect her.

| Personality
She is terrified of any wolf she meets that isn't in her pack. Every wolf besides them that she has met has ridiculed her because of her deformity.
But she is a very sweet soul, and even though she doesn't understand most of pack law, and she never learns to form full coherent sentences, she is loved dearly by her pack.
She is kind, and loves doing things for her pack that she thinks they like. Like bringing them leaves as gifts. The pack respects and appreicates everything she brings, even if it is something they don't really want.
She is very loyal, and likes to stick very close to Faolan and Dusk, her two best friends. She takes a very long time to trust anyone.
Even though she is 5 years, her early lack of socialization has left her puppy-like, and she always will be. She enjoys the simple things in life, like chewing on a stick or the color of flowers. She has a hard time understanding complex things.

"Muh. Muh."
"Yes, good job, keep coming," Faolan said encouragingly. Dusk nodded behind him.
"Muh-ii. Nah-me is Dev-vv-" She started to struggle, and started getting frustrated.
"It's okay," Faolan said quickly, placing his paw on hers. "There's no rush. None at all."
She nodded her head, determined. "Muh name is Dev-ik-a," she said, and then yipped, excitedly. She had done it! She had said a sentence, she had said her name.
"Yes! Good job, Devika! That was so good!" Faolan said, wagging his tail. Dusk came up and nuzzled her happily, his tail wagging, too.
"Devika! I ahm Devika!" she kept chanting her name. She was so happy. She was talking like a normal wolf. She was a normal wolf.
"I, Devika. You Fah-lo-an. You Dushck."
Both of them smiled at her and nodded, excitedly to her.
"You're so smart, Devika," Faolan said.
"I..good? Good woff?" She said, hopefully.
Faolan smiled at her, and placed his paw on hers.
"You're the best wolf," he said.
