Biography A buzz of anger roared the crowd. "Audacia has punished us all these years! Kill Timest! Put Audacia to rest!" A mother cried. "Audacia, if he were here, would kill Timest."
"Audacia, if he shows up, knows he would have done the same thing."
"Audacia," says a silky familiar voice from the back of the hall, "has come and does not appreciate having words put into his mouth." A ripple of fear flows through the hall as people recognize the figure, covered in dark fur with scalding, mismatched eyes that blaze with fury. He wears a cape, his long ears pinned and his sly features only more dominant due to the anger.
"If you had not escaped - "Odin begins.
"If you had not abandoned me," Audacia counters.
"I never abandoned you."
"As I dangled over the abyss trying so hard to explain, to win your approval, you stood over me and told me no. No, I was never going to be good enough. No, I was never going to be loved as you loved Timest. No, I was never going to be Asgardian, not truly. No, you did not approve of anything I did. You abandoned me with a word. And such a tiny word it was, too. No." He can feel Timest's shoulder pressed against his as unwanted tears spill silently down his cheeks.
"I never meant..."
"No, you never meant, but you wished. You wished it had been Timest who became King for that brief time and not me. You wished I had never learned the truth but remained content in my ignorance. You wished it had been I who died instead of Baldur."
"No," Odin and Frigga both exclaim.
The mother rushes to her dark-furred boy. "I never wanted to lose any of my sons."
"But it would have been better if it had been me. Do not deny it." The words were spat, tears leaking down Audacia's cheeks, his jaw clamped, trying to hold in his cries.
Both Odin and Frigga remain silent. Audacia laughs, a bitter laugh. "As you can see, Timest. I told you. I told you when Baldur died that it should've been me, that it would've been easier. Wasn't I right?" Scalding eyes turn to Timest, who tries to speak but winces in pain.
With a huff of anger, Audacia turns, and stomps out of the hall, fearful eyes sticking to his back as he leaves. They could practically see their fates once his anger finally dims.

Special Skills Rank Explanations:
Leader: The captain of the group, or the alpha. This wolf leads the pack into success, calls meetings, and appoints wolves to their rank.
Beta: The second in command. This wolf does not take place of the alpha when the alpha dies, but instead, stays as the beta until retirement or death.
Sentinel: Maximum: Two. The older of the two wolves in this rank will take place of the leader when the leader dies or retires. Sentinels are treated like princes, and are usually appointed with big tasks, such as visiting nearby packs to speak of bad things coming, or finding new territory.
Hunters: As their name suggests, these wolves are responsible for hunting for the pack. They are the killers, and fight in pack battles, kill nearby enemies, and are responsible for mentoring pups.
Guards: These wolves, usually there are ten, guard the pack throughout the day and night. They each have shifts, and switch out. Some sleep during the day and others, during the night. There are often two on a shift at a time. They are responsible for training pups, occasionally, and dealing with trespassers.
Medicine Wolf: Maximum: Three. These wolves, a apprentice, a warrior, and a elder, are responsible for healing wolves who have been injured, or diagnosed with illness. They can receive visions, occasionally, and also visit with the Tribe of Burning Oaks when they're in need of help.
Elders: Retired wolves. These wolves are responsible for living out the rest of their lives in the pack before they die.
Pups: Newborn wolves, to apprentice age (about two months)
Den Mothers: Wolves who have chosen to care for the newborn pups. These wolves have to be pregnant, or have already had pups.
Apprentices: Young wolves in training. They handle simple tasks such as hunting, and cleaning elders dens.
