I learned how to keep the pack in check from my father, and how to be merciful from my mother. I also learned how to be a good mother from watching my mother raise my sister, Autumn crocus. When my parents died, I became alpha, taking good care the pack, just like I promised them.
Now, in my old age, I am teaching my own pup, Shikoba, how to lead the pack. I trust that she will become a good alpha. Just like me.
