| Eye, weather and bodily functions mostly. Essentially taken cared of by bringing a spare or 2 more of clothes than you'll think. Dad was ex army so preparedness was drilled into me. And don't forget meds (if applicable) and drinking water But that's about it |

| Tern- A 4 day trip I'd say pack enough clothes to make like, 6 outfits max. Also don't pack underwear like you're gonna shit yourself twice everyday /silly. First aid kit is always good to have or just a few band aids |

| Eye I think you'll be alright, just pack for various emergencies, don't worry too much about it, and have fun. If these friends are as good as you say then they'll be there for you and help you out |

| Yeah, I lived in a national park less than a mile from the rim until I was 7, so fair enough on the hovering from my mother at least. And I was homeschooled immediately after a kid fell over said rim and then practically lived in one of those monkey backpacks. Then as I got older I chose the company of books rather than people lol |

| Tern Depending on the type of friends you keep, if you just tell them that your parents don't let you out much, they should be able to be supportive of you regardless of age. |

| im just asking because im about to go on a four-day trip with my friends and i don't feel prepared in the slightest and i want to know if other people would feel more prepared in my situation because they had experience being to other people's houses/sleepovers |

| Ecifircas Oof, made me remember how in 6th grade I acted like a cat in school. Ugh, it's a miracle I had any friends. I'm sure my grades was the only reason. |

| I mean, like I said, I was raised primarily by my great-grandma and that was also in a very small town of under 700 people (everyone knew everyone), so I'm probably not much help for a data set. lol Now I'm in a big city with my parents, and they don't let me go anywhere unless they're with me and/or trust the place or people in that place. |

| starlight that's true, yeah, but i live in a pretty safe area and i think my mom's biggest fear was that i was gonna be given drugs or trafficked or something like,, yeah i know there's a chance but its probably not gonna happen moonfall i see i see i can only remember being to two people's houses that weren't family members during the day, soo and the only time i spent away from my parents overnight was one night i stayed with my grandparents |

| Yeah, parents are weird, but you start realizing why they might've done what they did. Sometimes, it doesn't make their actions right, but understandable. Sometimes it just never makes sense. Regardless, parents are flawed individuals as well. |
