Hi no I'm not copying ET angler bubble dogs and stingray dogs are best friends, okay? Here's the first little guy, though... say hello to Phi! Anyways!! Here's the poll from a little while ago that I did, and I am actively working on developing them little by little, day by day :) But to develop them a little further, I'm opening up a Q&A forum for them! Ask me anything that you're curious about or want to know! It'll also help me develop some of their lore. I'll be posting some information about them in the next post, by the way, so you know a little bit about them. (See? Best friends.) Edited at October 7, 2024 07:59 PM by Obscurity

An interactive, semi-closed species, Nexus can be found in bodies of saltwater. They are a mixed species who appear to be a mix of wolf, angler fish and various other aquatic creatures and plants. All Nexus have a primarily canine form; slim-bodied and lithe. They tend to take on attributes of living organisms wherever they form. The deeper in the ocean they form, the darker their markings are and the more likely they are to have glowing attributes! However, they are also more likely to be more sickly, slower moving and have lower stamina, which will come into play once the exploration aspect of the Nexus has been established. The closer to the surface they are, the lighter in color their markings will likely be and there’s a lower chance they will glow. They average around 19-36 inches in height depending on the species they take on, rarely surpassing it. They may exceed this size when they form near large creatures such as sharks, whales and crocodiles, but they never exceed more than 45 inches in height. All Nexus have angler lights, ranging from 1-3 and have impermeable bubbles on their neck and paws. The color of the bubbles tend to reflect their moods. The purpose for the bubbles are uncertain; some myths say that they use them for oxygen and others believe that the bubbles signify the age of the Nexus; the less they have, the closer they are to death. When they die, they turn into seafoam.

How social are Nexus? Is Nexi the plural of nexus? What do they typically eat? How long do they tend to live? Can they be domesticated? What's their relationship with humans like? What is the most common type of Nexi? What is their frill [the orange one,,] for? Are they more common in certain areas of the world/certain water temperatures?
