Introduction
In a certain world, there are four main kingdoms. For years they have each agreed that the use of magic and mutations are forbidden, outlawing any sort of supernatural within their world. Anything or anyone related to magic or something of the like has gone into hiding, becoming monsters to society and being killed on the spot if found out. It was believed that for centuries that the kingdoms had finally gotten rid of magic, monsters, the supernatural...
Until now.
After sixteen years of living, the Princess/Prince of Lukaar has been experiencing unexpected changes. While also becoming an adult, they have been developing underlying powers that could destroy the entire world if they really wanted to. While this is happening, the word gets out, and it sends all of the kingdoms into a frenzy. The King and Queen, the Prince/Princess's parents demand that they are killed, regardless of being their heir. However, before they can be killed for being a 'monster', they run away.
After running away, the Prince/Princess comes across a Mutant. This Mutant is of unique appearance and abilities, one that infatuates the Prince/Princess. For a while, the two are on their own, until a Knight from the kingdom finds them. But instead of taking the Prince/Princess back to be publicly exiled, they stay to help them and protect the Prince/Princess and Mutant.
While in hiding for a while, their group expands. The Prince/Princess, the Mutant, the Knight, and now a Dragon Slayer, a Wizard/Witch, and a refugee all wandering the lands in search of finding a purpose. However, all of their lives are turned around after hearing word that anyone seen with the Prince/Princess are to be killed. So while not only risking their lives protecting this royal, they all must come to terms that it may not end well for them.
However, they then hear about a safe haven for beings like them after taking shelter just outside of a small village. This place is known as Nirvana. Hidden away from all of the kingdoms and run by one of the oldest Witches, this place is known for accepting anyone and everything. To people like the small group, it's a paradise.
That being said, the group sets their eyes on this paradise-like land while also being hunted. Will they be able to reach a land that will accept them, or will they be caught by their enemies?
Note: This intro will be rewritten, I'm just too lazy to do it now. Hopefully it gets the point across.
Plot
The small group that has come together over the past few months must learn to work together under harsh circumstances while dodging the kingdom's knights whom are after them, facing other obstacles within the world, all just to reach what is Nirvana. They have created a rather family-like bond with one another, and while not everyone will always get along, the group has seen past each other's differences and have found themselves a home amongst each other.
The only question that remains is while being hunted, will they be able to dodge what their world has to bring to them, or will they be hunted and killed? It all depends on if everyone can genuinely work together.

WorldAs a basic rundown, this world is rather similar to our own, just with supernatural twists. Things like elves, dwarves, witches, wizards, mutants, giants, etc, all exist. The only difference? Well, anything considered to be 'non-human' is forbidden. Anyone caught with a being of the like or who is one of the listed species is to be killed, and if they can, they must stay in hiding for as long as possible.There is a very diverse group of beings on this world. Ranging from humans to mutants to the literal unknown, there are very few who get to experience the unknown. This world has a secret, and a beautiful one at that, called Nirvana. Nirvana is one of the most hidden, secretive spots for troubled people who shouldn't even exist anymore. This place is like a paradise.The world is dominated by four main kingdoms, each respectfully staying within their own areas and taking care of one another. Trading is a huge part of this world. Each month, the kingdoms hold meetings to ensure that everything from previous ones still stands, make new deals, trades, etc. The world has never actually seen war - at least between the kingdoms. While they each have their own strengths and weaknesses, not once have they ever been at war with one another. In fact, their bonds are quite impressive. Obviously there have been disagreements, but none that led to bloodshed. Locations
map made with InkarnateBlack Peak MountainsClaimed by both the Dunada kingdom and Vakya kingdom, these mountains are not for the faint of heart. Most will come here in hopes of finding a place to lay low and keep a low profile, though it never has truly gone well. Most of the time, those who come here are never to return to where they came from. Why? Well, because some of the darkest entities lay here. While magic is outlawed in this world, it will forever lurk. Some say that in the deepest caves that there is a dark magic that only the ancient magic-users could ever defeat. Others believe it is simply dragons. Whatever it is, it is not safe to come here alone. As stated before, the mountains are shared by two kingdoms. Considering Vakya is on its own island, there isn't a whole lot for them to always support themselves, especially during the harsh winters, so a deal was made that they would get the furthermost western side of the mountains and whatever forest they can explore. Battlesol Woods
These woods are some of the most booming woods. Filled with plenty of wildlife, this forest is known for its nearby town, actually. It is used for its lumber, and hunting is quite popular here as well. Some travelers may come here to trade and sell pelts and hides. There isn't much else to do, honestly. It isn't ruled by anyone specific considering everyone gets at least something from it and its town.BattlesolBattlesol is an older town. It has been around for a long time, and actually used to be a small kingdom before magic destroyed it due to no laws being made then regarding the subject. It holds the land together, honestly, and is filled with a lot of hard-workers. Lumberjacks, store owners, hunters, traders, anything of the like. Most come here to simply stay for a couple of days and then eventually leave, but their population has always been at least a hundred.
DarthillDarthill is a huge city along the coast. This is the capital of the land. This is where all of the monthly meetings are held and the people here are normally members of the royal family, though not immediate family. It is known for its exciting view of the ocean. Darthill is also known for training knights. They have a dedicated team of eighteen people who train knights for each respective kingdom, and they are damn good at their jobs. NirvanaAs you may notice, Nirvana is not actually on the map. Why? Because it isn't even in the same dimension. The only way to get to Nirvana is to open a Gate, which is only done by the Ruler of Nirvana and whoever they grant power to in this dimension. Nobody knows who can open it and who can't, which is why it's so hidden and nobody knows where it is, or if its even real.Kingdoms

Available Species
These species are available for your character to be. Please note that I am not totally final with everything here, so if you have any ideas to add or want me to change something, please let me know! I am very open for other ideas as well that would fit here.
Humans
Obviously, this is just your average human. There is nothing special about them. They eat, sleep, work, everything that someone 'normal' would do. However, they are still rather powerful. Humans are the only species allowed in kingdoms, let alone on the world, honestly. They hold the lands together and show strength in numbers. They are also the only species that is socially accepted and not frowned upon.
There is a chance that a human can be born with powers, known as an Enchant. Enchants are also frowned upon, although the chance of one being born is rather slim and very uncommon. An Enchant being born is a one in a million chance, so when it does happen, it is still frowned upon. However, Enchants in Nirvana are very respected.
Humans can also become Mutants. This is all dependent on whether or not the human wants it to happen. However, most of the time nobody would willingly become one considering they are 'born of magic'.
Mutants
Mutants are considered to be anyone born of magic. This means that when they are born, a spell is casted upon them and it 'mutates' them to have certain powers. The powers that a Mutant might have can range from simple enhanced hearing to telekenisis. Their aging also slows down a bunch, therefore a Mutant could be forty-some-years-old and still look as young as a fifteen year-old.
They also have plenty of physical changes that can happen, mainly identified by their eye colors. Most Mutants will have yellow or purple eyes. Some other, and more rare mutations include extra limbs, eyes, sometimes even heads though these are hard to even function.
Once you are a Mutant, you cannot reverse the spell. However, in order to become human again, they must kill the original Witch/Wizard that casted the spell to begin with. Killing one is very difficult, especially if you have no idea what you're doing, so most of the time, they're shit out of luck.
Witches/Wizards
A Witch/Wizard is an intense magic-user, basically. They understand how power is chanelled, where it comes from, and how to use it. These beings are very powerful once their practice, is, well, practiced, and they have mastered a certain subject in magic. A Witch/Wizard is born with their powers, though their powers are apparent right away unlike an Enchant. They are raised in a coven, and once they are of-age, they have the choice to either leave or stay.
Witches/Wizards will practice the following magic - dark, light, fire, earth, air, and ice. Dark is the hardest to learn alongside light, and the elements are just the basics. Most of the time they will only choose one thing to practice, though they can also cast other spells like warding spells, hex others, posess others for a short period of time, talk to animals, shift into certain things, etc. Basically, anything is possible for them if they put their mind to it.
Dragon Slayer
The Dragon Slayer is very similar to the Mutant, except a Dragon Slayer is created from one spell and one spell only. This spell enables them to sense dragons, sometimes even speak to them telepathically if a bond between the Slayer and the dragon is strong enough. Considering that dragons are known as a menace, they do not really tame or train them, though they are the only people who are able to. While a Dragon Slayer is in fact associated with the supernatural and magic, they aren't entirely frowned upon considering they can be useful once a dragon is brought into the picture, otherwise they are also outlawed.

Roles Explained
Enchant
The Prince/Princess born with powers. Their entire lives they have had no idea about their powers until they turned sixteen. Quickly they left their kingdom, and have been on the run for roughly eight months now. Their powers consist of anything earth-related, so basically all of the elements. They still struggle with controlling their powers and are still unsure of what they're capable of, but there is something else inside of them that is yet to be discovered - dark magic, which could destroy a kingdom if they wanted to. However, this isn't noticed as of now considering how early on it is.
Knight
This Knight is one of the main reasons the Enchant is still even alive. They are a devoted, protective knight and came along with the Enchant months ago. They both come from the same kingdom, though that doesn't matter now considering they're all getting hunted.
Dragon Slayer
After a failed hunt, the Dragon Slayer fell in with the group after getting wounded. They help with warding off dragons and do the best they can to protect the Enchant as their bond is unexpected. They subtly teach the others about dragons, considering how dangerous they are. Their skills in combat are also very helpful.
Mutant
The mutant is probably the most intimidating out of all of them. Originally only joining to find strength, they found themselves slowly getting attatched which is rather uncommon for them to even feel human emotion. However, they did, and does the most to protect the group. They were also the first to fiind the Enchant, shortly before the Knight came along.
Witch/Wizard
This magic-user is the main reason why the group hasn't been found yet, and will be the reason they also find Nirvana because of their magic. They are very respected in the group, falling in with them after hearing about Nirvana and how the Enchant wants to go there.
Refugee
This poor soul is nothing special, mainly allowed to join out of pity and sympathy. However, they have found a familiar sense of family within the group and appreciates them as such. They do as much as they can.

RP Rules/Regulations
1. Be as active as possible. Do not join just to never post. If something comes up, please notify me. If you are inactive in the RP for more than a week, your character will be killed off. That being said, post at least once a week.
2. Be able to type at least 300 words. I understand writer's block, but if everyone is consistent, then it shouldn't be much of an issue.
3. Try to include everyone. Should go without saying, but it happens. This is a group RP, not a 1x1.
4. Images are allowed, though a description is still needed. Be as descriptive as possible when it comes to both appearance and personality.
5. Obviously, hate the character and not the player. I will not be tolerating any OOC drama.
6. Keep chatter to a minimum in the thread and sign-ups. If you have a question or something to add, either PM me or drop it in the discussion thread.
7. There are no reservations. I will choose who I think best suits the role. That being said, please do not take it personal if I don't choose your character for the role! In no way do I mean to offend anyone.
8. Obviously, have fun!
Character Rules/Regulations
1. No OP characters.
2. No Weeping Willows, Gary/Mary Sues, etc. I understand that trauma is a part of a character, but not everyone is perfect either and everyone is flawed. Just don't over-do it :)
3. For the love of God, do not have your character be 'that guy'. Always running off, causing trouble, etc. It's annoying.
4. There will only be one character per person.
5. Try to keep genders as even as possible.
6. Appearance and personality should each have at least 200 words. Yes, I will be checking.
7. Obviously, your characters can and will get harmed, possibly killed.
8. Always be sure to have permission to harm another person's character.
9. Your character must have at least three strengths and weaknesses.
10. I will be sorta picky with powers. While these people are powerful, too much is too much and I will dictate that. If I think that you should change something, I will let you know.

Considering he doesn't feel a lot of human emotion anymore, he hasn't been very interested in relationships for quite some time. But if the right one comes along, then whatever happens, happens. He doesn't like forcing anything to happen.
Reputation
Considering his physical and non-physical changes, he has never been socially accepted anywhere. While that is understandable as the kingdoms have outlawed magic, he has grown to have a more 'lone-wolf' status, so it is surprising for him to still be within the group. To most, he's a grump. Power
This Mutant has the power of Shadow Mimicry. This means that he can basically morph into a shadow, and this seemingly only works the best while in darkness (as that would make sense). He almost becomes like a gas, a black gas, that moves along the shadows. He can even, at times, morph multiple people into shadows, though the power is very draining if abused.
Appearance
This man is of an intimidating nature, not one you can simply approach and not expect a grunt of disgust or annoyance. He stands with a rather stout and broad build, with toned muscles but isn't overly muscular. His skin tone is of a warm ivory color, his body being covered in an abundance of scars and other blemishes. He stands at roughly six foot three, possessing defined features, especially in his face. He's rather interesting to look at, but not because he is handsome or charming, or anything of the like, but rather because he is just unique looking. The first thing that most would notice about him are his scars, the most noticeable being across his face. There is one that sits right on his nose, clearly was a deep wound, one across his left eyebrow towards the end of it that stretches two inches or so, and two others that go across his right eye in a diagonal way from the left. That being said, his vision is slightly impaired.
He looks rather elegant, to be honest. With a more ovular shaped face, he has a defined jawline with highly defined cheekbones, slightly sunken eyes, and full lips with a crooked nose that is considered to be hooked. His eyes are of a golden yellow, like that of a vibrant sunflower, that are slightly darker towards the pupil. His eyes are almond shaped, slightly rounder and bigger, making him look a bit more lively than what he's really feeling. They are spaced a bit further apart than normal, though he doesn't look entirely alien-like if that makes sense. Between his eyes are of course his nose, which comes down from his average-sized forehead in a hooked kind of way, coming to a slightly upward point. His nose is also crooked where his scar is on his nose, being from a brutal fight he had years ago. Anyway, he has a very pronounced Cupid's bow, leaving a slight shadow wherever the light is coming from, and his lips are full and are pink and rosy in color. His bottom lip is slightly more full than the top, protruding further out from his jaw. Behind his lips are very crooked teeth, though none are missing, so he doesn't look entirely disgusting. Obviously, his hygiene isn't the best, so they are in fact stained. He could honestly care less though.
One of the more attention-grabbing things about this man is his hair. Yes, his hair. It's one of the few things he takes pride in. It is about shoulder length, laying itself across his shoulders gently whenever it pleases to do so. It is a dark black in color, which just makes his eyes look even crazier, honestly. It is parted down the middle, falling to perfectly frame his chiseled face. It has slight waves to it, though other than that, it is quite straight. He will normally have it pulled back into something of a bun, a few pieces falling out in the front to also help frame his face. Other times, it may be in a half-up half-down sort of style. No, he will not let you braid it.
His attire consists of a button-up shirt that is dirty and raggedy looking, which loosely fits though still somehow captures his frame beneath it. He normally keeps one or two buttons unbuttoned at the top, which the shirt is black regarding color. It is also long-sleeve, so while doing labor work, he will in fact roll the sleeves like how any other person would. His shirt is tucked into his pants, though just the end of it and not in an excessive way. His pants are of a flexible material, almost leathery-like but it's not entirely that. He wears heavy boots as well, his pants tucked in as well, and he ties them up as tight as possible though he still keeps them comfortable. On top of all of this, he wears a dark grey hooded cloak, made of wool. He wears this as much as possible. It ties in the front with a small piece of silk, which is tied in a tight knot, and it drapes over his shoulders and goes down to his knees almost.
The only accessories he wears is a small sheath for his hunting knife that he stole from Darthill years ago that wraps around his thigh. He also wears a ring on his middle finger on his left hand, which has an emerald in the middle of it. It was a gift from his mother long before she passed away of natural causes, and well, before he left.
Personality

This man is not ever going to be your immediate friend. He's cold and quiet, never really conversing with others unless he absolutely needs to. He doesn't simply just open up, and never has. Perhaps it's simply how he was made, or it's because of his differences, but he does not trust easy. However, you can find yourself perhaps reading him and come to realize that he is cold for the right reasons - a world that does not want him, born without any say in what he became. His reasons are the best they could be, and while living in this world, his demeanor has simply gotten more and more reserved. Even as a boy - wandering on his own away from his mother for the sake of protecting her. He would never wish anyone to endure what he has gone through - not even to his worst enemy. That being said, he doesn't make a whole lot of friends, mainly because of this, and mainly just keeps everything mutual. Treat him with respect, he'll treat you the same. Hurt him? He'll hurt you. He's one to believe in karma and doesn't ever find himself to change that.
Obviously, this man is quiet. He doesn't really say much, and it's not that he struggles with speaking or is afraid to. Matter of fact, he's quite good at speaking his mind. He has never failed at this, and is known for being blunt when he does speak. He doesn't sugarcoat much, but he really only talks if it's deemed necessary. While being quiet, he becomes rather observant and understands how to read the room. He isn't there to please anyone either, so he has never found himself prioritizing other's feelings above his own. Selfish? Perhaps, but nobody has ever really been there for him either. He's not the worst person to go to either if you need to vent, because he is a great listener, but he's not always going to be there for you. He's already feeling guilty enough for even existing.
As stated before, this Mutant is quite the blunt creature. He doesn't sugarcoat anything, and he's not going to say something that you want to hear. He's going to speak his mind and say what you need to hear. Again, he's not there to please others - he's there to just be himself, so why mask it? He has never been the most approachable when it comes to getting opinions because of his blunt nature, but when asked for an opinion, don't expect some sort of shortened answer. He will always be the one to speak his mind. This also applies to when you want him to give you advice or something of the like. He speaks from his life experience, which is a long one, therefore one may call him wise. Technically speaking, he is, though he doesn't entirely look it. This man has been brought up in a world that doesn't want him, so his best interest is to simply do what he can for himself, so yes, he's had some experience.
As you could probably put together, he's serious. Stoic, perhaps. While he understands things like humor, and does have a rather dry sense of one with a hint of sarcasm, he's never been one to go out of his way to brighten the mood with a witty and funny comment. No. He's not the brightest either because of this, and he's found himself falling in and out of reality because of it. He's fought for so long that being serious is one of the few things keeping him going in this fucked up world. But, there is a bright side to it - he's honest. He has a tendency to leans more towards those who are the same way as well, though he doesn't mind the loud and obnoxious type every once in a while. That being said, you can find him never cracking a smile or laughing. Some may consider him emotionless, though in reality he's just sorta existing. He doesn't find himself ever being genuinely happy, or at least even content, so his seriousness could be a part of something deeper such as depression. But regardless, this seriousness could simply be something of how he was brought up in the world and it's just who he is. A staple of his personality. Almost like a father, in a way.
Because of how quiet and cold this man is, he's found himself to be rather calculating, always thinking of his next move. While words are not his go-to way of communication, it's still something he thinks about. He likes to ensure that he makes sense and would rather say something meaningful that is truthful to what he feels or thinks rather than saying something in the heat of the moment. While being calculating, he's observant, but there's also a downside. He will get what he wants in any way. He will subconsciously manipulate others, though while still be truthful. So no, he's not a liar, but rather a manipulator. He doesn't really realize he does this, and others may notice, but it's never been something that has changed since he was a boy. Some may consider him ruthless for this as well, but when he has a goal, he is focused on that and that only, regardless of what others think. If anyone gets in his way, then so be it - he will stop you. He also doesn't do well when he is told to do something, because he isn't a stupid being. He's intelligent and understands the circumstances of a situation. Best to leave him alone, but that's just his advice.
He's brutal. A murderer. Reckless, perhaps. Anger is one of those things that once it starts, it doesn't stop, and it will forever be an inner demon that he is fighting with. While managing to keep his feelings under control like sadness, anger is not one. It fuels him, honestly. So whether it's physically or verbally, he's brutal in every way you could possibly fathom. It's not something that he has managed to control, and while he has slightly improved over the years, he has never fully come to terms with the fact that normal humans would understand this. Forever this anger will float inside of him, whether it be because of something that happened or for what he is. Whatever it is, it shouldn't be messed with. If you knew better, you would know to be careful around him. While he is intelligent, once this reckless anger takes control, so does this brutality. Murdering. Yelling. Screaming. Anything of the like. He has a lot of bottled emotions, so pissing him off simply makes him oblivious to anything. Perhaps this is the main reason for his cold nature and distancing himself from anyone as much as possible, but he's never found himself forgiven for it. It is the one thing that cannot be forgiven, honestly. That being said, he would understand why you may not want to be around him. However, this more brutal nature helps in a world such as this, so it's not an entirely horrible thing if used correctly. He can be brutal to protect. He can be brutal to prove himself. But if used wrong, expect a bloodbath.
Menacing and intimidating are some other words to help describe this Mutant. He possesses a cold look that lurks everywhere he goes with everything he does, even if he's simply looking around and scouting out an area. He's not very approachable to say the least, and doesn't have the most welcoming gaze or even eyes you would expect. Not that you would, honestly, but you would think that maybe he's been broken enough to simply just welcome anyone at this point. If you would assume that, you assumed wrong. Dead wrong. Being menacing and brutal and perhaps even reckless at times causes a bunch of problems for starters, but it also just makes him ten times more unapproachable and cold. He really only ever becomes 'menacing' when it's necessary. He knows how to intimidate and how to kill, and in this world, those things have become quite common for him. Sad? Maybe, but it's all he's ever really known.
Above all, he is protective. Although he may not say it, once he clicks with someone, he will protect you until the day he dies. Some may consider him something of a father or an older brother sort of figure, or at least he radiates that sort of energy. He will protect his tribe, per se. This Mutant has a devotion to those he finds something of a family in, and it's life-long. However, he's not one to give second chances. One fuck-up and you're done with him. He's done with you, and while it may be something he could easily forgive, he holds grudges like no other. In a way, it's almost like a passion of his. Once something has happened that causes him to lose all trust in you, he will forever look at you different. It's not something that should be taken lightly either, just like how if he even talks to you shouldn't. He doesn't just open up, as mentioned before, so abusing his trust within the relationship is the worst thing you can do. And in all honesty, he could make your life a living hell if he wanted to. However, he doesn't become all immature about it and turns around and gossips about it. Rather, he simply looks at you different, literally and metaphorically, and moves on from it. He understands that nothing is permanent either. Anyway, because he is protective of others, if someone is harming you and he finds out, he'll go all out. Murder's an option, but so is a civilized conversation. He basically becomes your big ass dog, and once commanded to do something for you, he'll do it. But this is only if you're extremely close, and not just hovering around one another.
As if it weren't already obvious, he's observant. While being quiet and distant, he's always watching - as creepy as that sounds. But it isn't like that. He will study the tone, the body language of someone, observe the terrain of a new land, and do his best to pick up on details that may become important later down the road. That being said, he likes to make mental notes of as many things as possible. He has a tendency to zone out as well, but he also subconsciously just looks around. He also picks up on small details that would be on someone, like a hole in clothing. Obviously he would never say something if it wasn't important, so while observing, he only ever says something about a certain thing he picked up on unless it actually pertained to the others. This is probably one of his better traits, to be honest. Among everything else. Lastly, this man is quite apathetic overall. Because of his species, he has slowly lost feeling of human emotions. While he still can experience them, it isn't the normal of what a normal human being would feel. He has no idea if he could ever feel again, and to be honest, he isn't sure if he wants to. There hasn't been anyone in recent years to make him feel much, and while he does know how to care, is loyal, trustworthy, some other things, nothing has come close to making him genuinely feel again. In a way, this is a good thing - the heartbreak that this world brings doesn't affect him as much as it would others. But also in a way, he longs to feel something again. So whatever it is that brings him some sort of peace, whether he feels content or happiness, he hopes it's someone or something that he can stay with forever.
