Setting: In the enchanted Land of Azale, diverse landscapes stretch beneath a shimmering sky. Towering mountains, ancient forests, and serene rivers create a magical realm sustained by the blessings of five deities, each representing an elemental force of nature. The Totems: Five cats, each embodying a unique elemental blessing, were born under a celestial convergence—a rare event prophesied to awaken their ancient powers. Unbeknownst to them, they are the Totems of Azale, destined to rise against a malevolent force threatening their home. 1. The Cat Blessed by the Sun: Radiates warmth and light, capable of healing and invigorating others while repelling shadows. 2. The Cat Blessed by the Breeze: Agile and swift, manipulates winds for speed and protective barriers while carrying whispers across distances. 3. The Cat Blessed by Water: Connected to rivers and lakes, commands water for healing and communication, sensing emotions and intentions. 4. The Cat Blessed by Nature: Guardian of flora and fauna, encourages growth and communes with earth spirits, calling upon nature’s strength. 5. The Cat Blessed by the Moon: Mysterious and elusive, draws power from the night, sees through illusions, and manipulates dreams to reveal hidden truths. The Essence of Azale: For centuries, Azale thrived under its deities, but recently, darkness has begun to encroach, threatening to drain the elemental powers from the Totems. Corruption and fear spread across the land, and rumors of a cult worshiping the malevolent Shadowbinder emerge, sowing distrust among Azale’s inhabitants. The Call to Action: The Totems must come together to uncover the truth behind the growing darkness. As they explore their unique powers and forge alliances, they will discover ancient prophecies, lost artifacts, and secrets that bind them to the very essence of Azale. The strength of unity and the true nature of their destinies will guide them as they prepare to face the unknown. Name: Moose Gender: Male Blessing: Sun Appearance: TL;DR: A large, fluffy tom with sunkissed brown fur riddled with patterns and freckles. Warm, passive, and surprisingly gentle in his tough exterior. Moose has a large frame, muscles built for endurance hidden behind thick, fluffy fur that lends warmth in the colder seasons. While he falls behind more lithe, athletic cats, his innate strength and stamina offer something further than pure speed. His coat is a deep earthy brown, honeyed with tones of gold and flecks of sunlight scattered in freckles across a pattern of rich, messy but tabby-like markings. Moose’s pelt blends into the dense forests he grew up in, yet offers a warmth further than his sunkissed fur - a dense downy texture, almost velvety to the touch when kept well. Moose’s eyes hold a realm of mossen comfort in their deep green depths, rich in the way that they stand out ever so slightly from his pelt, yet just quite failing to be striking enough to draw attention. Just the same, thin scars and discolorations from hunting and the very occasional fight scatter his skin, hidden behind thick fur and careful care and invisible to the uninquisitive eye. While his stature may be found intimidating put to another cat, Moose exudes an amiable warmth about him, his gait long and hulkling but still lightened with purpose. His demeanor is relaxed and open, inviting in his passiveness. His tone matches his stance, warm as honey in tea. Personality: Warm | Loyal | Intuitive | Empathetic | Adaptable | Protective | Conflict-Avoidant | Approachable Aware of Powers: Mostly unaware, however his radiant appearance and demeanor do give a strong nod towards his totem that's hard not to somewhat notice. Backstory: Moose’s life has never been all too unique, born into a sizable clowder residing in one of the great ancient forests of Azale. Moose’s youth was spent hunting and playing in dense foliage, as well as lounging in the sun that his clowder dearly loved so much so, being patrons of the sun deity. Moose, as soon as he'd grown old enough to see interest in aiding his clowder, began training to become a hunter and defender for those that struggled to do so, learning to utilize his strength and endurance in place of his shortcomings in more agility based skills. Perhaps, one day, Moose would have completed his training, however, that day would have to come some other time. Fate- and perhaps the deity Moose grew to love- had other ideas for the tom. Goals: Moose strives to have purpose- be it hunting for the elderly or simply kitten-sitting duty, having a job and doing it well is what drives Moose. However, above all, Moose wants to keep as many of his loved ones and acquaintances safe as possible, and if that means leaving home on a grand adventure, well, Moose just wants to return home safe and successful. Other Notes: It's been a good moment since I've been active on here, so I apologize ahead of time if I'm a bit rusty! Feel free to message me if any information you'd like is not on here, I'm more than happy to supplement any questions. :] Edited at October 13, 2024 12:08 AM by Shadows At Twilight

Name: Rocky Gender: Male Blessing: Nature Appearance: Rocky is a light gray spotted tabby. His body is dominated by dark gray, almost black spots, while his tail has bands of the same color, and his legs have curvy stripes. His forehead has a V-shaped marking with leaf-shaped spots on either side. His chin, front paws, the lower half of his hind legs, and his belly are white, and he has a white patch on his chest and a thin, zigzagging white stripe between his eyes. Light orange fur can be found on his muzzle, around his eyes, covering his nose bridge, and outlining his belly. He has bright green eyes with pupils like black needles. Around his neck he carries a green snake with a darker back, yellow belly, thin white stripes down its back, silver eyes, an array of heat-sensing pits, and a forked tongue that darts irritably in and out. Personality: Rocky is excitable and playful, always looking for a new adventure. He views life as a fun journey full of wonderous sights and thrilling events, often failing to consider the danger or take things seriously. He is extremely brave to the point of being reckless. He takes risks to save someone he cares about, or even just because he thinks it’d be a fun challenge. He likes to jokingly tease his friends and doesn’t always realize when he’s taken it too far. Rocky is the type of cat who would say that rules are meant to be broken. --- The snake, on the other paw, is generally ill-tempered and lazy, mainly hanging around Rocky’s neck and doing little else. Its bond with Rocky isn’t affectionate, per se, just… trusting? And it certainly puts up with Rocky despite seemingly being annoyed by some of his stunts. Despite this, Rocky always appreciated its companionship. Aware of Powers (yes or no): Rocky has an odd feeling that there is something different about him: His skill at getting plants to grow. The way predators seem more reluctant to attack him, especially his serpentine companion. The way prey moves trustingly toward him, making him feel faintly guilty about hunting. Backstory: As a kitten, Rocky always got in trouble due to his rebellious nature and reckless stunts. Despite his natural talents for hunting and herb-growing, he earned a bad reputation as a troublemaker. This only made him resentful and more rebellious, causing some other kittens to be told by their parents to avoid him, lest his bad habits rub off on them. One day he stormed off into the woods and found his serpentine companion, who he was able to bond with due to his powers. They’d been together ever since. Goals: Rocky feels bored and trapped in the life he lives now. He wants to go on a real adventure, though he isn’t yet sure what that would look like. Other Notes: Let me know if I should remove the snake, it was just an interesting idea I thought up, but I don’t know if it makes sense in the setting? It’s not venomous or big, and doesn’t have any special powers or anything.
