• Setting • . It is early morning in the beginning of their travel, possibly around 9 am. The cats have camped out in a makeshift cave. The cave is fairly small so the cats were practically shoulder to shoulder. The weather is sunny with slight breezes here and there. The cave is located deep in a forest, miles from the closest hunting ground, a place where rabbits and squirrels are mostly found. Edited at March 28, 2022 06:56 PM by M I S E R Y

Atlas | Male | Fighter | M: Open! ~ Atlas yawned and stretched, blinking sleep away from his eyes. He flexed his legs briefly, twitching his tail. He blinked in surprise, down at the cat who was unusually close to him. Why are they so close to me-? Then everything came rushing back and he felt a stab of excitement. More traveling, different places to see! Atlas picked his way carefully past the sleeping cats, making sure not to step on anyone. He made his way to the entrance of the cave and sat neatly with his tail tucked around him, waiting as his eyes adjusted to the sunlight. A gentle breeze whirled past him, bringing him faint scents of the forest miles away. He drank in the scents of prey, heather, and forest as he surveyed the land around him. He had explored the land a little the night before, but one could never be too cautious. His belly complained noisily. "Oh hush, you have to wait until the scavengers wake up." He muttered. It complained again. In an attempt to distract himself, he began to groom himself. He lifted one paw and licked it, rubbing it across his face and repeating this routine for awhile before moving to the base of his tail. Atlas finished his grooming and kneaded his paws into the heather below him in anticipation, impatiently waiting for his fellow cats to wake up. Edited at March 28, 2022 07:36 PM by FancyPants

Damion | Apprentice | M: Open (Atlas slightly) Damion's eyes slowly opened as he felt a shuffing near him, and caught just the glimpse of Atlas's tail leave the cave behind him. His paws trembled a bit in the cool, and his fur was puffed out to keep him warm. Slowly, he stretched with a yawn, unmoving at first, sleep still holding his body like a plauge, pinning him down. The young cats limbs felt quite heavy and weak, too weak to get up. Growing with his whereabouts, he managed to pick his head up and glanced around the cave, smelling the crisp sweet air. A gentle purr rose in his throat which soon grew louder and seemed, in a way, to strengthen him just enough. Damion soon found his footing, and stood amoung the other cats, though he was still too sleepy to move. It's too early for this. He reasoned with himself. The young apprentice shared a quiet yawn, then clambered out of the cave with silent pawsteps, nearly bumping into Atlas at first. As the brisk wind caught him in the face, the Apprentice toppled over onto his back with a sneeze, showing his acute clumsiness. His tail flicked irritably, and it didn't help that the wind was causing his fur to become unkept. Nothing was worse than an unkept tail, at least that's what Pebble said. Onyx Female | Shaman | M: Open . Emerald green orbs revealed themselves, almost illuminating the female's face. She felt fur against her that was not her own, but her group members. It was fairly tight in the space that they had camped out in and she was getting slightly claustrophobic. However, she knew there were no other options. Onyx stood up and made her way to the entrance of the den, careful not to step on the others. She noticed a few cats already awake. Onyx was still processing the disaster. Her home and everything she knew was gone. Right now, the cats are her home. It was yet another day for traveling and she was not very ecstatic about it. They shouldn't even be having to do this. If that stupid tornado...Onyx stopped her thoughts because she can't go back in time anyway. Whatever she says can't fix anything. The female sat outside of the makeshift cave and began grooming herself of the leaves and twigs that stuck to her usually clean fur. She awaited for more cats to wake up, seeing what the leaders had in stock for them to do today.

Atlas | Male | Fighter | M: Damion ~ Atlas turned his head sharply at the sound of something toppling over near him. He relaxed and let out a mrrow of amusement when he saw the apprentice. "You know, someday you'll have to learn to be less clumsy. Especially if you're going to be a scavenger. You'll scare all the prey!" He teased. He studied Damion and added, "Maybe try grooming yourself so you don't look as if you were just attacked by a badger. Just an idea." His words were a little sharp, but his tone was friendly and joking. Atlas nodded at the heather next to him, as a gesture to sit. His ears twitched as he waited for Damion's reply. Arlo / 4 / Male / Solar / M: Atlas, Onyx; Damion (Ind.) . Arlo sat quietly, inaudibly flicking his tail every now and then. He hd watched the sunrise early, his ginger frame sitting several tail-lengths above the lip of the cave, his view spectacular as he watched the sun coming up above the trees. He yawned widly, his claws pushing into the soft moss that he sat on. After stretching, he padded to the right and came down round the side of the cave, leaping neatly down the rough rocky slope, before he came upon Onyx and on the far side of the cave, Atlas. He nodded to the tom, before sitting down beside Onyx, who was grooming herself quietly. He heard a small scuffle from inside the cave and, whipping his head round he spotted Damion and smiled slightly as the small tom stumbled as a gust of wind blew through his fur. Looking back to Onyx, he settled down and flicked his ears a few times. "I can't imagine what today will bring... New travels, destinations, it is new for all of us. I suppose we will just have to find out." He sighed deeply, slightly embarrased that he had just confessed his deepest fears to the Shaman. But, knowing that she hopefully wouldn't take it personally, he began to knead the ground with his paws. An aroma filled his nostrils, and he blinked slowly as he recognised the soft and lucios smell of rabbits. "We must send the scavengers out... Then we can leave." Arlo said almost to himself. Moth | Male | Kit | M: Arlo Moth opened his eyes. He was in a dark, little-lit cave. How had he gotten there? Then all of his memories came rushing back. He sighed and looked over his shoulder at the waking cats below him. Once again, his mother had forgotten about him and he had had to find his own space. He had found a little crevice in the stone, a good 7 feet off the ground, that only he was small enough to clamber and squeeze into. He stood and stretched, yawning and squeaking as his pink mouth contrasted against his little thorny white fangs. His paw slipped, and he tumbled down the lightly sloped, smooth stone wall and into the crowd of cats. He was attempting to stand up, shaking out his fur of pebbles, when he crashed into another cat. It was the Solar, Arlo. Edited at March 28, 2022 09:02 PM by .-.

Damion | Apprentice | M: Atlas Damion sniffed, then looked up curiously. For a moment, he was confused, the sleep still holding on tightly to him. But slowly, he blinked, and scrambled to his paws and perked his ears up. He then sat down, and studied his pelt, a bit embarrased for being such a wreck. "Eh, yeah. I suppose I'm used to a nest... not a... cave," He glanced back, ears swervling flat against his head. His tail wrapped against his paws and that purr disappeared in his throat. Everything was so... different now. Damion understood that he was expected to be strong, but something in him just didn't click. He didn't want to have to move on. Not yet at least. "N-Not that I'm complaining. I can take anything. I'm no kit." He puffed his chest out and lifted his chin up, though his fur puffed out just a bit. Damion didn't want to seem weak, especially in front of one of the fighters. He needed to do everything in his power to impress everyone. How could he though? Now, this was just a scattered band of cats with no home. He was hungry, and he didn't have his nest, and everything was just so new so fast. His whiskers twitched with... resentment almost. Not at any cat here, but just the situation itself. Edited at March 28, 2022 09:11 PM by ScardeyKat
