Guys I have drawn probably 3 horses in the last 4 years, send help.
I'm looking for a bit of assistance with the horse portion of this centaur. Redlining is okay, sending refs is okay [just make sure they follow WP crediting and hotlinking rules]. [c]157083 Current version: Edited at January 9, 2024 01:55 PM by Eternity

I'm in a moving car so I apologize LOL but this is how I would change the back end, just make it meatier Edit: fixed the weird leg angle, also my hooves are too small for the meat of the legs but I hope this gets the point across lol Edited at January 9, 2024 12:18 PM by Insomnia

I think the ass needs to be more curved so the back should be lower than the ass, just search horses from the side. I can pm you with a drawing tomorrow if i have the time.

A drawing would be appreciated! I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean.
The horse portion is meant to be from a 3/4 behind angle, ish. So it's not fully profile.

Here's few tips! The first thing I would change is the right front leg. I'd move it closer to the body to make the perspective work better. And as as said above, asss need to be bigger and more musclular. You should try search for references especially anatomical ones and photos of horses in active movement so you can better understand how equine's muscles work. I can send a drawing with some fixes later if you want^^
