Hey, I'm new to the game and not yet familiar with the economy. Prices seem to vary a lot in art shops, so I'm hoping to shed some light on where I belong in it. I'd like help pricing avatars, here is an example: How much would someone be willing to pay for this type of art? And if I were to do full body character illustrations (or transparent images), can anyone provide a rough estimate of what that would be worth? thank you.

Hiya! I'm pretty out of loop on the art market, but I just wanted to drop in and say your art and shading is stunning! :0 For busts alone like the one you posted, I'm sure they could go for at least 5-10 apples, probably more!
I can recommend trying some YCHs or auctions, they tend to be a great way to gauge pricing. :> I hope that helps!

Heya, welcome to WolfPlay! I agree with ET that an amazing bust like that could definitely sell for over 10 apples! YCHs auctions or general auctions without a set AB can help guage both interest and can allow you to see the amount of mush/apples people are willing to spend on your art so I highly recommend :3

Hey! I absolutely love your style - the shading/lighting is absolutely amazing. I'd definitely be interested in commissioning you if you open up a shop. Kind of like what Eternity said, I definitely think that the bust example you posted can go for at least 10 apples. If it were a fullbody, given the example you've already posted, I'd definitely be willing to pay around 30+ apples for a full piece.

Thank you everyone for your help! It looks like I might be charging just a little under what everyone has suggested, so if demand gets high then I may need to adjust lol.

My friends took the words right out of my mouth, but I would happily pay anywhere between 5-10 apples for a piece of your art! If you're still unsure of what your prices should be, I would suggest a PWYW (pay what you want) shop to get an idea of how much your art would go for. You can always set up a minimum amount so people won't lowball you as well~
