Plot / Background: Wolf-dogs from low content and ultra high content have become pests in the human world. Not exactly pets, but not exactly wild. Wolf-dogs have a more conflicted mindset especially in low content ones. Unstable and unpredictable, but still social and confident around humans. As a sanctuary that saves wolf-dogs from different situations to give them a place to be free, but around humans. As the sanctuary over the years have had litters from their own wolf-dogs or rescued. They slowly began planning to introduce wolf-dogs into the wild. A group of wolf-dogs ranging from low content wolf dogs to ultra high content ages 1-3 have been raised together to form their own social hierarchy. They know each other and some get along and some do not. The humans were very careful to not overly socialize with the species or interfere with the social hierarchy. Though it doesn't mean the wolf-dogs did not get attached to their luxurious lifestyle. But also the wolf-dogs could still get emotionally dependent on humans to a point. The pack of wolf-dogs were soon sedated and placed in soft release kennels for their experiment in the wild. The wolf dogs will wake up lethargic and dehydrated from the sedation. A mass of confusion and even panic will spark in their minds. All new sights and scents will overwhelm the pack, some may welcome it and some may be afraid. Since the wolf-dogs are young and do not fully depend on humans. They have a surviving chance to tap into their wolf instincts to be wild animals. The wolf-dogs must learn to fight and hunt together as a pack. They must learn to trust one another. They will face threats of larger apex predators. They may possibly come face to face with their wild side of lone wolves or packs. The wolfdogs will also have to figure out the inside of their pack roles. Will they keep the same ranking as their sanctuary life? As the wolf dogs will realize that they have e collars that tell the humans locations and vitals. Will the pack divide to help the humans or ruin the experiment? The wolfdogs will be dropped off in the middle of a plain in the late summer. Only with the harsh cold winter around the corner, will they survive or perish? But with that, the wolf dogs never knowing what it's like truly to be wild and on their own. Will they figure out? And to establish pack laws if they can figure out to stay alive together..

Wolf Dog Guide-Lines: Size: (Male Wolf Dogs) Height: 26 in to 30in Weight: 70-120 pounds Length: 5-6.5feet (Female Wolf Dogs) Height: 24in to 28in Weight: 60-90 pounds Length:4.5 feet to 6 feet Wolf-Dog Mixes: I will allow pretty much any dog to be mixed with a wolf. But they have to make sense and be explained by appearance. Below are common breeds (Not naming actual dog breeds, just general) German Shepherd Husky Malamutes Akita Tamaskan Canadian Eskimo Dog Shiba Inu Irish WolfHounds If you use a dog breed not on this list. That’s fine! Please just research a bit. Though the only requirement is medium to large size dog breeds as this a “survival” roleplay! Wolf-Dog Content: Low Content Wolf-Dogs (1-49%): These wolfdogs look and act more like dogs. Though they still have wolfish attributes. They have more unstable and unpredictable behaviors. With that being said they also have behavioral issues with their conflicted mindsets of their wolfish tendencies and their dog. They are more sociable around humans. But the only problem why they aren't recognized as pets, is their destructive and unstable behaviors. They are still exotic animals with wolfish tendencies. Mid Content Wolf-Dogs (50-74%): These wolfdogs are split with equal or almost equal to their wolf and dog sides. They are more withdrawn from humans, but are still comfortable enough. The appearances are equal to both sides of their genes. High Content Wolf-Dogs (75% or higher): These wolfdogs are almost full wolf. These wolf-dogs may only have 1-3 dog attributes to them. They are more skittish and suspicious of humans. They look almost identical to their wolf side but a little smaller and may have dog characteristics or not. They are more aggressive to humans if provoked. ( not everyone will have/be high content wolf-dogs! I will keep it even. If one gets higher than the other, then I will close it)

Name: Merlin Age: 3 years Gender: Male Breed: 80% Gray Wolf x 20% Alaskan Malamute Rank: Alpha Desired Rank: Achieved Why you deserve that rank?: Already achieved Appearance: Merlin is a 30 inch tall male wolf-dog. A well built and in his prime for fights and dominance challenges. A large brute that towers most of his companions, but doesn’t necessarily mean he has equals in height and size. He is 6 feet in length from his long body and long legged self. Merlin reaches 105-110 pounds as it fluctuates on a daily basis. A large stocky male wolf-dog as his abilities of agility and speed are not ideal to his build. Merlin relies on brute strength and endurance for anything that requires a body workout. Merlin is a large shadow with most of his fur being black or a darkish gray color. He does have a white stripe down his face starting between his eyes and ending at the tip of his nose. He has white chest, underbelly, and under his tail. As his white color is almost pure white with shades of light gray and creams in the colorations. His paws are dappled of the colors of cream and light gray with his paws being a light off pink color. Merlin’s only dog attribute is his tail that is bushy-like curls up to his back. Merlin has light yellow piercing eyes that look hauntingly beautiful in the night. Merlin has crystal white teeth and ragged black long claws. Merlin is a deep husky voice that sounds low and intimidating to most. His collar he wears is a little tight around his neck and is causing him issues that are rubbing against his skin. He will most likely need it off due to him still growing. Merlin doesn’t have many scars and is a very clean wolf-dog. He hates being dirty with a passion and rather keep himself looking up on appearance and glossy looking. His pelt is short at the moment due to the summer, but it is glossy and shiny looking and will look so dashing when his fur grows for the winter. Personality: Merlin is a well mannered gentleman. He keeps up on others and speaks almost in a proper tone. He has a way to make others hate how he talks, but like him at the same time. Merlin is not the most socially individual in the pack, but he will still go out of his way to have a decent conversation with another. He is a simple minded wolf-dog that all he needs is food, water, and shelter. He really doesn't seem to be upset over anything. As Merlin is a laidback and chill guy and he doesn’t let any harsh words come and ruin his day. He is just a rather boring male that would take naps all day and be left alone in his own little world. Merlin is very methodical and calculated. An adaptive and fast learner, he will pick up on what he needs to learn on and focus on. When he isn’t his full relaxed self. He is a little on edge and more hostile to others. He has an icy flare and sarcasm laced in his words. He tries to find solutions to every scenario. He is not afraid to be the villain to any one’s story. Merlin can be merciless and vengeful if he is provoked enough. He doesn’t take kindly to threats to his loved ones and will diminish his enemies to flesh and bones. Merlin has a way to mask his emotions to a lesser extent. He can act like he is happy when he is angry or act jealous when he doesn’t care. Merlin is a hard flirt to the ladies. Yes he knows he is a bad boy and very much good looking. He is never afraid to flirt with the ladies. Though the difference with his harmless flirting and his actual individual he finds to love, the flirting will stop. His whole world will revolve around her. He will worship the ground she walks on. Merlin is overprotective to most of the wolf-dogs. Though it will be worse if he has his own children, siblings, or his mate. He does not tolerate harm to their safety. Merlin also has a tendency to be hard working and will push himself to the ground with exhaustion. He will try again and again until he is perfect.
Due to Merlin's high content of wolf dog, he wasn't really attached to humans. He was very suspicious and cautious of their whereabouts and intentions of him and his pack. He would get aggressive if a human came to close him or tried to touch him. Strengths: Strength Endurance Tracking Weakness: Speed Agility Swimming Kin: Open Crush: N/A Open Mate: N/A Affiliations: open Other: Read the Rules. Will add to him later.
