| Reaper Yeah i loved the days whene he took some of the horses and went to a competition XD Less horses and no grumpy boss hehe There was one horse that was a bit crazy in the stall...once you took him out he was normal. I found out wheree he liked beeing scratched and combined that with treats. Soon he allowed me to do anything with him in the stall. The look on the faces of 2 stable hands who came to help for a week and thought i was useless was priceless when i putten a blanket on that horse inside his stall...getting a horses trust is amazing |

| Amy At least you were supposed to have days off. When it's your own horse at a do it yourself stable, it's seven days a week all year. |

| Amy Wow, that guy sounds like a real piece of work! And not giving you time off for your sister when you've worked that much? That's horrible. I'm lucky that most of my bosses have been super sweet. I used to volunteer at the stable I rode at and I loved the owners and most of the horses. It was an OTTB stable which was nice. Some of the horses were a bit grumpy but only one you really had to be careful around. Can't blame the poor guy though, he was a rescue and apparently his old owners would abuse him in his stall. Poor baby. Sweet horse when he liked you though |

| Reaper I love horses too, smell never bothered me and honestly i didn't mind the hard work, and the horses were nice. It was the boss who drove me away. Promised me a day off each week then when i asked for it he was like i have no one else hold on for this week, he couldn't stand dust in a freaking stall (imagine the rage with spiderwebs) And once when i asked him for 2 days off at once because my sister was celebrating her 18th birthday and i wanted to make her a suprise party he denied it...after working i don't know how many weeks without a day off I quitted soon after |

| Amy Lmao that's so valid That's awesome! I want to be able to have a stable (I have a ton of big unrealistic dreams XD) Yikes! That's not any fun, but what I wouldn't give to be out in the stables somedays. Is it weird that I love the smell of horses? My family used to say I was crazy for not wanting to shower the second I came home |

| Reaper I have a hunch i could do it faster but red death redemption has my soul at weekends lol Don't be sad...i realised working with horses is what i want now XD Hopefully i can find a stable with a decent pay and a normal working hours...the last i worked at i had to work 11 hours a day and take care of 18-22 horses every day. From feeding them, mucking out the stalls and taking them out. And the boss was an ass so i left lol |
