I've accidentally double posted in Sales and of course have seen others do it on accident as well. My dilemma is whether to post "whoops sorry that was a mistake" or to simply not address it. I'm always reluctant to say anything after a double post since I feel like it makes it even more spammy if that makes sense :')

Usually I just put
"(Sorry for double post)"
Because if I dont, theres usually someone telling me not to double post :') |

posting a correction, or a second post saying sorry is not allowed, I think, but I would probally still say sorry ;p |

I think those may be excused since, obviously, if it genuinely happened, then it happened or just wait 'till your next turn. I know it happens in HEE and if someone corrects their ad stuff the mods there won't actively strangle you, and neither have I seen any mods here do so. This. :) We're pretty lenient on accidental double postings or corrections, as long as it's not excessive. Since these things kind of just happen. It happens to me more than you'd think, actually. xD |
