Yes, this is a lot of information. Please read through most of it, as this is in a fictional world, many things are different.

History and Background+dictionary
This is based on a fictional world so I'm providing background details so you know the setting and what's happening.
Landscape-
The fictional world, Evergreen (PM me if you have a better name), is suited among a diverse forest world. These forest landscapes also include deserts, mountains and all kinds of landscapes. What makes this world so special is the beings who live inside. These beings, the shape-shifters, are what remains of a legendary council, one that has seen many ups and downs.

Shapeshifters-
Their animal is revealed at ages 14-15, which is when they usually begin Academy training. The beings, the shapeshifters, the center of this RP. They are ruled by a Council, one with six members. Each member comes from a different animal kingdom. Mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, and insects. They rule side by side, in peace, except for the occasional challenge, in the form of a fight, for the top posiiton. There are two types of shapeshifters, semi and full. Semi-shapeshifters can only shift partially into their animal. For example, a hawkshifter may be able to shift into the wings of a hawk and have the eyesight, but may have the torso and legs of a human. These human features vary on the shapeshifter and aren't guranteed. Full shapeshifters can transform fully into their animal, but can't keep any human parts that aren't in the animal. For example, a shark shifter may be able to breathe on land, but won't be very mobile. The most powerful of the shapeshifters are both full and semi-shifters. However, no shapeshifter can shift into multiple animals.

Problems-
Parasites. The Corrupted.
There are some shifters out there, that when their inner animal is revealed, it is a parasite. Mosquitos, leeches, etc. These, when first shifted, become blood and power hungry and are usually unable to be turned back to good. This usually doesn't end good and are known as the Corrupted. Many of the shapeshifters hunt the Corrupted and hate them down to their soul.

Evergreen Academy
Of course, the setting where this all happens. Evergreen Academy is the most prestigious academy in the Evergreen world, closely funded by the Council itself. Many high-ranked officals send their children, once shifted, to be taught here. It is ruled by a headmaster, and their vice headmaster. The teachers and the courses they teach vary. Students are only accepted after they have first shifted.

9-10. The Corrupted (only required for first years, though older students may choose to retake the class. This warns the students about the Corrupted)
Any of these courses may happen under different names and any order.

Plot
One of the members of the Council has been revealed to be Corrupted and that endangers the political face of the Everglades and threaten riots by the Corrupted. The headmaster of Evergreen Academy believes the Academy is safe from the Corrupted and therefore doesn't do anything. However, the danger is closer than they think. A group of mischievious students one day go into the Everglades, the forest that surrounds the academy, unsupervised, and they meet a sight far from their dreams and into their nightmares. This select group of students has discovered the most dangerous secret of all. The Everglades is home to the main secret base of the Corrupted. These students must find a way to spread the word and save the Academy from these Corrupted. However, it appears the Headmaster himself is behind more of the Corrupted than anyone could ever guess. It all ends to one question:
