same! My mom and I both have raynauds which causes poop blood circulation. she puts it on her feet before she sleeps to stay warm! Her mom used to mix it in warm water and make her drink it when she was sick, which of course would induce diarrhea but would work (don't do that at home kids)

one day I'll get my mom to talk more about the natural remedies her mom used on her. We mostly are taught that Vicks vapor rub and vitamin e cream are our friends, and can help with almost anything. It's a weird mix of natural and other medicines in my house that confuses my boyfriend when he gets hurt or sick while over lmao

for us it's mostly just natural teas to settle tummies and soothe throats and anxiety. My mom has a lot more she knows of and was telling me of one her mom used on her a lot that tasted so bad it's only effect was inducing vomiting for her lmao. My mom loves using simple and natural fixes, but she also knows that herbs wont fix broken bones and the flu. Sometimes stronger medicine is needed :)

My mom made sure we all know how to handle minor injuries ourselves, and to come to her for worse ones. She has natural remedies, and when they fail medicine is in place :)

Me too, it's weird to not see me with random cuts and bruises all over XD When I'm at home I've become the designated doctor of the family, whenever someone gets hurt or needs to know what something is they call me over XD
