I had uploaded a new avatar(that I drew) yet it seemed that someone thought it was hot-linking.
I was quite confused and didn't really understand why they would think that.
Should I add a signature to my art or something, i'm just very confused about this problem.

Did you upload it to an image hosting site such as postimage or tinypic? Or upload it with a deviantart link?

If you used a deviantart link, it needs to be uploaded through an image hosting site

You'll also need to credit it and make sure it's a stock image or something you made entirely yourself. If you used a reference you must credit the owner of the reference you used, you can also only reference stock images.
