Interactive adopts?? How adopts work on wolfplay in general?? It's very different to what I got used to on other sites.
Anyone wanna give me a run down of how they work?

From what I've gathered, people chose to 'explore' somewhere, such as mountains vs forest. then, you give them choices, such as 'follow the stream' or 'head for the windy sound', and, based on their choices, they will capture different types of your creatures. thats not the only way to do it, of course, but ive seen it done like that pretty often. hope that helped! :)

Eternity,
Basically, somebody will have line art, or another base. People will go to the 'store' and the owner will say 'there are ___ different breeds. Which would you like to see?' It's like a video game, where you interact with the npcs. In the end, they give you the ending piece, and you have to pay a price in mush.

I still find this very confusing. Apologies. ^^

@Eternity
It is a lot of work.
I've only done it twice and hated it both times. You'll get a lot of people, sometimes multiple times. (As in over ten) and start to hate it.

Interactive adopts mean you can play/interact with you bough animal. It also mean you do an explore and try to find the animal. When having an interactive explore it's always good to have a lot of options and items to take with you.
Some adopts can be Non interactive meaning you just get the art without doing an explore. Sometimes interactive also means breeding. You can breed your adopted animals and then you can get some offspring.
Adopts need a few main things. Like items and rarities. Some people like to go for higher rarity animals so it's always good to have stuff like that.
Having a gallery where people can look back on their adopts is also great. It soo no one gets confused or gas to go back through the pages too look.
Hope this helps! If you have anymore questions about adopts I can probably help.

Alright, this is starting to make more sense. I might be tempted to try something like this. [Though it's me, it'd be expensive as heck.]
Does anyone know a good way of integrating slots into this kinda thing?

Okay, Pancake shall try. Adopts are (mostly) linearts that are colored by someone/someones and sold for mush. The rest of it will change on the person.
Some will only do premades, others will only do interactive, both, and some have breedings while others don't.
Premades are just simply colored and sold for a price, like the designs you do.
Interactive is when the person paying can chose between some choices and get adopts that way.
Breeding is just the customer picking two adopts and have offspring of them.
It can be very stressful sometimes. I've done about 4 shops while being on here and had to close them all do it stress.

Not entirely, but my way of trying it would be to create a thing called 'explorers', and you can only take new clients if one explorer is free. this explorer would be nothing more than a slot, really, but in a style that might fit the interactive style more.
