Poe,

That is too funny that out of all his offspring, he never threw out a viti. Honestly I feel like they are hard to come by.

Hello Dear Members! Wolfplay is not a political site, but there is a bill in Congress which will very much affect Grey Wolves in the wild.

You may not have heard, but House recently passed the inaccurately named "Trust the Science" bill sponsored by Lauren Boebert. The aim of this bill is to remove grey wolves from the Endangered Species Act, effectively removing all protections surrounding Grey Wolves in 48 states. There are roughly 8,000 wolves in those states. While Grey Wolves have met their conservation targets, the protections on wolves are absolutely necessary to their survival. This bill would make it legal to trap and kill wolves. Even with protections in place on wolves, poaching is an extreme issue.

There is a fair chance the bill may not pass, as senate is majority democratic (against bill), however public voice is still important.

Please contact local members of the Senate to Vote No on this bill. We need to protect Grey Wolves.

Thank you.

Just for information, just because someone is democratic, doesn't mean they'll be against the bill. I'm not claiming the bill will pass or get vetoed though, that we'll see in the future.

I don't think this is the time or place to play devil's advocate. Like Campe brought up, the "Dems are pro-science" is a pretty solidified fact for a majority of Democrats and is also upheld by the Dem House votes- that being majority voting "No." Better to keep games in the classroom, these kinds of comments might dishearten people and make them think there isn't as much of a chance on getting the bill squashed considering it's Dem senators that are most likely to actually vote "No" compared to Rep senators

I think you're misunderstanding; your message shows you didn't understand what the initial announcement message meant by Dems being (mostly) pro-science, because the numbers back it up. We are speaking about the Senate and House. Not every single Democrat in the United States. The Senate & House has majority Democrats as pro-science. Your comment makes no sense in regards to the S&H, it only makes sense in a general population outlook of all Americans. If you still believe we misunderstand, please, by all means, explain yourself !! I won't understand what you think I am misunderstanding if there's no explanation. I'm autistic so I'm not catching on at all because to me your message makes no sense regarding the S&H
