You cannot delete your account. I believe basic accounts delete after 6 months of inactivity and premium accounts are after a year (I could be wrong as the rule's been changed). |

You have to wait for the account to get deleted. Also, I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to say you're quitting, but I could be wrong. |
