I'm kind of new to this whole explore thing ive got 4 explore wolves, 3 of them aren't mine but im renting them so i think i have a decent explore team, I never really earn much from exploring like everyone else earns, im on forest lvl 5 so far, i kill every animal and partake everything i come across is there something im doing wrong? Do i need more battle wolves? Im not too sure what to do, could i get some advice? - I buy chinese pottery but end up spending more then i earn so its kinda difficult

First- forest level 5 isn't that good. It'll get better the higher up you go. Don't buy chinese pottery until you've got a good team that can make you more mush than moves you spend. Unless you want to get to higher levels quicker, which then by all means use chinese pottery. Battle, resolve, and agility are arguably the most important Character Attributes to max out as well. Battle increases damage, resolve increases accuracy, and agility increases the likelihood an enemy's attack will miss. Stay away from the jungle until you've got a good team. The jungle is by far one of the best biomes, but the enemies can whoop your ass if you don't have a good enough team to deal with them. Once you've got battle, resolve, and agility maxed out on enough wolves (3-4?), the jungle should be fine for you to go to. Edited at March 24, 2021 08:14 PM by Winecup

Another 2 other good traits to max out are stealth and luck, stealth helps with tracking down prey and luck helps with fining things to dig up. It ultimately helps you gain more mush. With wolves try to stick with ones who have battle boosts like DHs, ES, CS etc. since their boost directly help when battling. It's nice good to have wolves with at least 525BE since that's when they reach highest damage. If you have a pup that you're going to train make sure that they're on your team so that they can get more CP so you spend less or use less of your daily CP on them. I'd say stick with forest until you have a good team then go to jungle or tundra. Jungle only has sun bears but tundra has polar bears and grizzlies, grizzlies will reck your team so be careful with that.

What everything said above I agree with
I would also focus on forest level 2 until all your wolves have reached max damage like Kitties said, 525BE. Forest 2 is harmless and easy mush for beginners
Forest gets good after level 30 or so, so you will have to power through these lower levels before you can earn real good mush
Earning mush in the beginning is hard because you are stuck on lwoer levels, but liek I said, you just got to pwoer trhough. Jungle is a big mush festival but you absolutely need 6 explroe wolves that are preferabbly DH, because you get extra health points.
it also takes a lot of time to earn good mush, i explore 5+ hours a day and this way i make my 2-3k+ mush
