+ Night Stalker + ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- + Night Stalker - 1st Person + The morning was cold, but it was early spring after all. It was raining, meaning it was perfect to hunt. The sound of the rain hitting the leaves of the trees and the sound of it hitting the rocks and the ground below my feet. It made it difficult to hear predators and it was equally as difficult to find prey. Once you found it though it was almost impossible to lose thanks to how close you can get. I slowly made my way out of my cave as I stretched, leaving my empty nest behind. I quickly sped up to a run as I headed towards the plains where most of my prey slept. The tall grass was good at hiding them but the rain gave them away. It made a different sound when it hit their back compared to the grass. As I stalked up to them they didn't notice since the rain hitting my back just sounded like it was one of them. I snuck up to one that smelled of iron, and blood, meaning it was already previously injured and either recovering or it was weak. I snatched it by the throat as I dragged it away from the rest, preventing it from making a sound as I suffocated it. Once it died I picked up my prize and retreated to somewhere more secluded. Hoping that no one would come and steal my meal. I retreated to an area with mainly white rocks so it would hopefully be easier to spot someone. Then I began to dig into my meal, tearing it apart into chucks I could chew on and swallow. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't expect you to write this much, the minimum that I like is 100 words. - Snow Ball - Todd - (both names, Todd is a nickname) . Todd didnt want to wake yet. His eyes tried to stay pinned shut but with the cold and sun seeping into his makeshift den he had to just give in. His eyes shot open and he saw the mist of the forest mixed chirping birds. His head lifted rather slowly as he felt something close to him. He turned his head and saw little eyes watching him. Latens. He snapped his jaws at them and they ran into the shrub for cover. Coward little bird things. Todd didnt wanna risk being nipped or jumped on laying down so he finally pushed himself up onto his feet, growling softly. He was not a morning lover. - His gaze shifting from side to side as he scrambled along the dense forest floor, his tail swaying side to side. Hed hoped maybe today was a good day to finally get some water by the river without something snapping at him. . (Thats okay, i prefer to write in 3rd person in a way, andim quiet a literate person when i have good amount to work with) Edited at November 24, 2023 06:53 PM by CRIMSON PATH

+ Night Stalker - 1st Person + The rain had cleared while I was eating so I could relax a little as I finished my meal. I got up with a stretch needing a drink and wanting to wash the blood off of my mouth. If I don't wash it off a bigger predator might track it and think I'm an easy meal. As I trotted down to the river I stopped by a stream that flowed off of it instead of going to the river itself. I watched too many other dinosaurs get dragged in because they weren't cautious about the water. The leaves in the trees swayed and thankfully it was the only sound I heard next to the running water. It was a peaceful morning so far, but I didn't want to jinx it so I just tapped my foot on the roots of a nearby tree. I walked over and bent down to drink from the stream as I stared at the larger river. Just then I heard something moving in the bushes across the river and I lifted my head to see a couple of larger herbivores crossing the water. I spooked a bit when I saw a deinosuchus come out of the water and grab it by the neck, drowning it. Thankfully the blood on my mouth was now clean and i slowly backed up away from the stream.

Todd - 3rd person - Todd smelt death infront of him. The metalicy slimy feeling of blood ran through his nose as he appraoched the tree line that led to the river stream. He saw the larger hebivore get dragged under by teeth and scales. He felt his heart race but with more confidence then he possesed he decided to drink a little further up. He walked along and kept an eye on the water as he did not want this to be his last time on on this earth. Taking in as much as he could, not knowing when the last time he would get this releife, he spotted a figure moving little ways infront of him across this deathly aquatic home. He paused. This figure blended into the shadows behind it but the red scales that resembled lots of life rewarding fights and struggles gave it away, just a little. Todd wondered if it was time to leave, his white, black and blue face was not meant for this habitat. He was on the search for somewhere safer to stay but none the less it would be a journey he wasnt comfortable with yet. His posture changed from scared to little more of a protective stance as he turned and backed away from the water with wide strides, taking shelter once again in the solid trees. His head was full of thoughts and he couldnt decifer which was more important, running or chasing.

+ Night Stalker - 1st Person + I heard fast moving and saw a flash of white and blue scales. My first instinct was to follow, so that was what I did. I was careful to match their footsteps in an attempt to hide my presence; I realized it was another Alioramus and I came to a skidding stop, making a lot of noise. I let out a couple of friendly calls, hoping that they would return them. I couldn't recall the last time I saw another alioramus so the moment they stopped I trotted to get a little closer but still kept my distance a bit. Once I got closer I realized it was a male, now the flashy colors made sense. As we stared each other down I let out a couple of soft and friendly clicks. --------------------------------------------------------------- Let me know if I need to back off if you think I am a little controlling because I will back off if you think it is too much.

Todd - 3rd person - Todd watched as the female approached him. He was suprized to see his own kind again. He was young when his family had left him to figure out this world to himself. The only friend he had was another male but they got seperated due to clashing of life style. He heard her unique calls and mustered up the courage to return them but he let out small, voice cracking chirps. - Todd but more than nervous, so to diffuse this he scratched his face with his little claws. His mouth scar and muzzle healing mound was present in the sun. Todd wondered if she saw him as a challenger and if he was on her territory or near her chicks hed surely leave with no hesitation but he could see nor hear any offspring. Shaking his head to get rid of some of the dew from the night he let out little purring sounds in hopes of showing some curiousity and friendliness. - Your ok! I really dont mind, i think it gives charecter :) Edited at November 24, 2023 09:35 PM by CRIMSON PATH

+ Nigh Stalker - 1st Person + I was glad he was returning my friendly calls as I slowly got closer. It was a way of showing I'm friendly and don't want to attack or get in a fight. The grass under my feet was silent since it was still wet. I returned the purring sounds as I got closer and smelled him a little bit. I didn't know if it was a good time to speak or not, it was tempting but I didn't want to accidentally spook him. I had never had a clutch of my own and most males I had interacted with in the past already had a mate. So I was silently hoping he would stick around, even if he wasn't interested it still meant I had company.

Todd - 3rd person - He returned her eagerness and stepped forward willingly, reaching his muzzle out and smelling her neck and shoulders. He got a close up of her scars and body and she had lived quiet a life. He was shy towards his own species and wasnt sure how to handle socail interactions but this seemed like a good start. He stepped back. He might aswell try introduce himself. His voice slow and steady, staying a lone tone he muttered, "Im Snow.. but other creatures know me as Todd.." He lowered his gaze as he took a quick peak at the surrounding area. "I hope im not intruding." He added quickly, unsure still but he seemed less nervous and just wanted to be polite to such a stunning gall. The scar on his lip gave him a slight airy way of speaking but was barely noticable if not concentrated on. His tail swayed happily at finally meeting a creature that didnt want to snap his neck.

+ Night Stalker - 1st Person + My tail swayed happily when he introduced himself and I raised my head up a bit. "You're not intruding," I said happily with a soft tone, "I'm the only Alio that lives in these parts, it's always good to have a friendly interaction," I said with a soft laugh "My name is Night Stalker, you can just call me Night though. I think it is obvious how I got my name." I said with a soft but nervous chuckle "My scars are deceiving though, I don't actually like to fight," I added I was raised in a clutch of mainly boys and my sire always liked to mess with us. As we got older, I started to gain some maternal instincts and I was always keeping my brothers in line. It got to the point where my mother was always saying I would be a good mother. Well now look at me, I'm covered in scars mainly just from protecting hatchlings that weren't even my own that were abandoned. Sure sometimes if there was no saving them I would just eat them, but if I knew I could save them by stepping in I would.

Todd - 3rd person - Todd lisened carefully and admired her kindness. He wasnt one to look twice at hatchlings or juvis. Hed play, help but if it came between his life and theirs.. He wouldnt know. Hes never been put in that scenario before. "My scars.. are from fighting. And fitting into places i shouldnt be." He sighed, rembering the time he was starving and decided that the grand plains that most animals resided would be great hunting oppotunities. He fit into a tiny cave just for some food, and rightly so damaged his back. "Your kindness is admirable, Night. Im suprized any Alio even live around here. Theres usaully nothing good here most of the year, what brought you here?"
