❖ Locations ❖
♦Map♦
(Land continues past the end of the picture so its bigger then the piece of land you can see in the reference pic.)
The map itself my look small, but remember that this place is as big as Yellow Stone National Park (3,468 Miles).
①Ahlam
-Is a untouched island surrounded by Lake Burkhard. The distance between Ahlam and pack Tama's land is to great to tell what the land holds. We only know that it is there and where our future safe haven lies.
②Lake Burkhard
-It's the lake that surrounds Ahlam and where the great Werner river flows from. The lake is to massive for a animal to swim across. Though many have tried and died of exhaustion.
③Taima Falls / Thunder Falls
-This is the waterfall between Lake Burkhard and the Werner river. The sounds the rapid falling water makes almost mimics that of thunder, which is where tribe Tama's name came from.
④Lookout Point
-This is a hill off of tribe Tama's territory that sits beside Taima Falls. There is a long worn dirt path leading from Storm rise to here. This location gives a strong overview of all of the land between here and Hallvardur Mountains.
Patrols from tribe Tama visit here often to ensure the safety of the packs.
This is Tama tribe territory.
⑤Storm Rise
-Is a massive rise of land that towers above the trees. The rise provides many dens for Tama's members. It has a winding pathway up the rise. All the way to the top where the Tama's leader's den sits. It looks over the land and would reveal a attack early on. Which makes a suprise attack on Tama tirbe almost impossible.
This is Tama tribe territory.
⑥Storm Meadow
- Is the massive meadow located under Storm Rise. Its lush green grasses are scattered with colorful wild flowers. This is a perfect hunting ground, the grass is tall enough to hide crouched predators on the hunt. Prey animals such moose, elk, deer, and rabbits can be hunted here and prefer this as their eating grounds.
This is consicered Tama tribe territory.
Rouges are allowed to hunt/live here.
⑦Werner River
- Is the wide rushing river that splits running in 3 different directions separating the living lands from the infected dead zone. It also seperates Shadow Valley and Neoma tribe from the other tribes.
This is the main source of water and fish are caught here. Many water fowl , otters and garter snakes can be found here as well.
This belongs to no tribe and is accessablie to all.
⑧Storm Pass
-The Whispering woods separates here. Its a worn path through the trees wide enough for two wagons to fit down. It leads from Storm Meadow to Golden Hills. The ground is usually worn from constant travel between the packs. It has little grass and hard packed dirt that usually loosens when it rains. Making wagon pulling dangerous.
This belongs to no tribe and is accessablie to all.
⑨Whispering Woods
-Is a almost endless wooded area. It starts at the packs and stretches back for miles. The woods near the packs are considered safe, but is more dangerous the further back you go. Its really easy to become lost here, and the lost are almost always never seen again. Rumor says the lost's souls are trapped in the woods forever, and you can hear their whispers throughout. One rumor says there are good spirits resting in the woods, and if they find you they will lead you home.
The Whispering Woods are more dangerous for the things that are not rumors, such as the bears. Bears are not allied with the other predators. They see themselves better then the rest and prefer solitude. If you become faced with a hungry enough bear you will be dinner. A mother bear could also see you as a threat, or other bears see you as a hunting competitor, resulting in your death.
If you are brave enough prey animals such as moose, elk, deer, rabbits, squirrels, and mice can be hunted here.
(A unannounced tribe called the Maura tribe lives here. The other tribes are unaware of their presence in the woods.
They use natural cave like structures and paw built shelters as dens)
This is accessablie to all.
⑩Stone Path
-Is a path of large rocks that connect Golden Hills to Shadow Valley. Its how predators travel between the two lands, avoiding the dreaded Mrithun Marsh. This is used as a safety net for those that fall into the Fast flowing waters. Those that fall in can catch themselves between the closely laid rocks to pull themselves out of the water.
This is accessablie to all.
⑪Golden Hills
- Is a large field with rolling hills that borders Hallvardur Mountain. The grass is long and wispy here. The grass is so tall in parts it almost completely conceals the prey and cloaks the predators. Cairn tribe use this as their hunting grounds.
Prey animals such as moose, elk, deer, bison, rabbits, mice, vole, and shrew can be hunted here.
This is Cairn tribe territory.
⑫Hallvardur Mountain
-A large chain of mountains that hovers over the other packs. Its rugged terrain with little vegetation. This is the tallest points of playable area. It is home to the Cairn tribe. They use caves in the mountains as dens.
Prey animals such as big horn sheep, mountain goats, mice, and few rabbits can be hunted here.
This is Cairn tribe territory.
⑬Mrithun Marsh
- Is a deep marsh that holds usual marsh vegetation and animals.
It is said that monsters so terrible that they cannot be described live in the Mrithun Marsh. Some so big their legs are the trees, some so small they could fit into your ears. ~Ewwwww~. All equally as terrifying. Few animals that enter the marsh come out alive. Its a unspoken rule to not go inside or near the marsh. It is a breeding ground of nightmares.
Some shamans visit here for items and animals that can only be found inside.
This is accessablie to all.
⑭Shadow Valley
- Is a expansive valley with huge hills and scattered wooded areas.
Predators live in dug out dens or paw built shelters. The dens usually have a long tunnel leading to the den space and a small exit tunnel that will only be dug through when there is a emergency. Prey animals such as moose, elk, deer, rabbits, mice, vole, and shrew can be hunted here.
This is accessablie to all.
Neoma Tribe and rouge bands live and hunt here.
⑮Moon Stone
- A massive rock located at the bottom of Shadow Valley. Its a light grey color, with mosses, vines and few flowers climbing on it. It is said the stone fell from the sky and a gift from the moon god. It is treasured by the Neoma tribe. Tribe members come here to pray and bask in its sacred space. Few more ""Holy"" predators live on site.
Shamans also visit the moon stone, but believe the rock is a source of strong natural energy and is a connection to the earth.
This is Neoma tribe territorry.
⑯Fallen Wood / Dead Zone
- Is a huge land mass of dead vegetation. Full of forests and mountains.
The Infected plague these lands making it unlivable. Some herds have to pass through the Fallen wood as part of their migration.
Predators do everything they can to prevent having to cross the water back into the dead zone. Its risky to even be on the bank of this infested land.
This is accessablie to all, if you are brave enough.
