Yknow, I really hate it when someone asks me for art, then complains my prices are outrageous.
.
Like art requires from me:
- money, to pay for art/digital editing software
- effort, it's not like I snap my fingers and make it appear
- time, around 5-12 hours depending on the piece
- and the skill that I spent 9 years and still polishing today at digital art school
.
Thankfully, I usually discuss prices before hand, and if they don't like it, they can just decline.
But dear that 40 year old lady who contacted me about drawing her dog, if the prices are too high for you, you DONT need to mention it and further bitch about it <3 xoxoxo kisses hugs
Just say no thank you, like your parents (hopefully) taught you how to do.
.
Also the rare occurrences when someone wants art and says they'll discuss prices in the end, then rip me off because it's not what they were expecting is the worst. Like I sent you examples, my art isn't hyper realism, pay me what I asked please?
.
Ugh.
