| Backstories can be written as scenes ;D unless i suppose yokuâre submitting to a specific project that has a format requirement? My backstory documents are a mess. But they work. I write scenes to get into their heads and get to know them, or to have a reference for a very crucial past momentâ¦. I also find it more interesting and engaging so it holds my focus better. Then i just jot down other stuff in bullet lists, the details like âhas a scar on left eye.â If iâve come up with a reason for it ill add a note to it, but idk You could start with just some details and lists on the page, then from there, push the text around until youâve got it restructured in the format you want? |
