| @Winter Aw! Dachshunds are so cute and spunky! And I'll be sure to take it step-by-step. I know it's a long process (up to two years, apparently). But I think having the pup owner trained will help with the handler-dog bond as well. |

| @petri aww sweet, good luck on sd training. I have in training pup too. she's a long hair dachshund named Daphne. just don't rush any training |

| @Winter The pup will be 8 weeks when I pick him up (it's through a professional breeder whose rep I checked thoroughly to avoid BYB), though I do plan on keeping up with any potty training that hasn't been completely established. |
