A little tidbit of passing lore regarding dragon riders I thought of as I was writing Namid's form.

Dragon riders will usually tend to start wearing colors that match or go with their dragon's coloration. In the case of clashing skin tone with clothing color, they'll go with the closest color that looks decent on them.

This is typically out of a type of respect to their dragon, and also to acknowledge the fact that they are affiliated with each other, in a sense. To let others know that this dragon is their dragon, and that they are that dragon's rider. If that makes sense.
