About The Society

Long ago, the Land of Oraous was spit into four major category of dragons: Aqueous, Inferno , Zephyr, and Nature dragons with dragons not know being called Enigma's. There were many wars being the societies, some stronger than others and some weaker. Some species were nearly put into extinction. Blood doused the land, and the once beautiful planet was becoming desecrated by the carelessness of the dragons. The Gods were not pleased and so they blessed two dragons from each species with amazing magik to stop the wars, and soon the magic users began their work of restoring and keeping the land beautiful.

Soon new races and species of dragons were coming about because of this magic and the Halcyon Age came. Records of the wars were kept in Archives and Libraries and taught in Academies. Soon dragons without magic found out they could replicate it with potions and soon new jobs and career paths were open. More dragons with natural magik were being born and this was good for society until the magik began dying for some unknown reason. And this is where we start our story.

The Government

Dragons live among their own species primarily. They are ruled by some sort of monarchy or democracy. There have been King, Queens, Emperors, Empresses, Sultans and many other titles for leaders. It is strongly unheard of for dragons of different species to interact for reasons other than diplomatic reasons. This leads to many speculations and misinformation about other dragons.

Religion

The Dragons have many Gods and religious beliefs that are too numerous to name. However they have the same expressions when being dramatic, "Oh by the Moons!" All have a common belief in the moons and rever it fervently. They believe that when a dragon dies their body transcends to the Heavens and become a star. Good spirits are known as ryuu spirits, ones who protect the good and benevolent and Evil spirits are known and drogo spirts, these are the vengeful and malevolent creatures, however some used vengeance for good and honorable reasons.
