Signups- Characters forms

As a brief overview, this roleplay will be semi-lit and 300+ words, though a higher word count is welcome. It'll be medieval fantasy and all types of characters will be welcome as long as y'know, they're not overpowered. It'll be a small group roleplay

Brief Requirements.
Able to type up 300+ words per character.
Willing to be active in OOC discussion threads.
Happy to build and add to the plot.
Active, at least one post per day preferred if possible.
No more than two characters per person. [May make exceptions if needed]

We're not gonna worry about character forms or anything like that just yet, just if you're interested in joining this type of roleplay post here and I can work out a list of people and we can begin working on a plot together.

As a brief overview of what kinda plot we'll be going for, it'll be a quest roleplay. So several people of different walks of life have to come together to either find something or defeat some kind of foe. They'll likely have to travel some kind of long distance or constantly be on the move, along with working out how to work together as a team.

As mentioned above, all types of fantasy creature will be allowed but they should be human-based. If you want a dog that can speak, you're on thin ice but I'll allow it lmao.

Our characters will be mostly from the same kingdom.
Some will be selected by the royal family.
Others may apply to join.
The current quest/issue they will be sent to deal with is undecided.

If we have a lot of people joining, there will be two groups, potentially from separate kingdoms.


A mysterious plague has spread throughout multiple kingdoms with no clue as to where or what it came from. Tensions run high as everyone excuses what is unknown to them as the cause, whether it be other species, other kingdoms or other cultures. Some claim the goddess of life is angry at them, whilst others claim it was a plague manufactured by another kingdom. The side effects of the plague are huge, and affect different races in different ways.

Our kingdom's ruler wishes to put an end to this, and puts together a team of individuals to find a cure and find the source of this plague, whilst also allowing others to apply to join through a rigorous selection program. They are sent off on their journey just as it seems their kingdom is about to break out into riots and degradation of society as a whole, with theft and fights running rife through the city.

Do have an idea as to how many folks you wanna have in the group on said quest, ET? :0 I think it might be interesting if there were two different groups on the same quest, meaning both end up interrupting each other along the way. But it does depend on how many people you're looking to include xD

Absolutely no idea! :0 Ideally it'd be not far over 7 characters, but judging by the interest on the poll we might end up with a few more than that ;;
Having two groups would be pretty neat though! :D If we get uh,, more people than expected joining we can certainly have two seperate groups.

It's gonna be interesting to try and work out just what motivates a bunch of people to go on a quest somewhere, but hey, we'll make it work.
I'd guess it'd be by coincidence that they all happen to be in the same place at once, or maybe several of 'em live in the same place.
