Yep, I wish we as a world would stop and actually inform ourselves and stop spreading misinformation. The media is always dramatizing things and blowing everything way out of proportion and now we have innocent animals being slaughtered because of it

yes i agree with you. I also think that a lot of people (in europe where these dogs are foreign) i think a lot of the people that buy them, encourage and like their history as agressive dogs

That doesn't surprise me, even rotties I've seen. Not many, but there are some. Most of the negative myths surrounding pits and such are because of the dogs that were abused, neglected, or used in dog fights. Gives the entire breed a bad rep

Almost any dog can do a job if it's trained right. Labs, goldens, german shepards, even Pitties and malinois, I've personally met a Doberman Pincher who was a cardiac alert dog. Many breeds have been trained for those jobs but some of them just arent in the media

pitties where never used as nanny dogs, thats a common myth lol

It really is sad. I work in a vet hospital and I've had more huskies, Dalmatians, and chihuahuas try and take my face off than anything else, but I've never seen any legislation about them.

Such sweet dogs, all they want is love, snuggles, and sometimes a sweater

banning dogs is the dumbest thing

i thought service dogs had to be generally working breeds? like poodles, labs etc or maybe the criteria for blind dogs are much different?

Same, it's so unbelievably unfair and cruel. Like, it's hard for me to even fathom how someone could do that. Pitties used to be the "All American Dog" and were even used as nannys.

yes xl bullies are banned in the uk, france, norway and lots of countries here in europe

a service dog can be any breed but the XL bully in question that was rufused to be allowed on campus was for a student who has seizures

Hello Everyone!
So, I want to try doing fur on some of my sketches. I've used the fill tool on Procreate but it's not really the style I'm looking for. I'm looking for "realistic" fur within the body and smooth transtitions between different colors of fur on the body, if that makes sense.
.
@High-Yote on DA
.
I found that on Pinterest and I really like the fur but I don't know how to do that. I'm not really restricted to any certain style of fur, but I really like the style in the picture.
.
Any advice on how to do fur like in the picture or just in general is much appreciated!

i know you probably dont use photoshop, but there are hundreds of free fur brushes! i use them, but have little practice with them myself. lol those are really great for getting that realistic look if you can follow how the fur goes
