Largely, random. I don't have a naming scheme in the slightest. Sometimes it's just random names that fit them, sometimes it's references to songs and sometimes it's just... who knows what. I've got a wolf named Third Quarter because I was watching football.

My are named after different wines, Skyrim locations, and same are just their attributes to make mass breeding easier as I have too many wolves to remember them all.

A mix of pretty much everything. Some fandom, a mix of OC's, some based on appearance, even a few real-life themes, one or two based on real-life stuff for me. Early on, most were named after other animals. Edited at January 6, 2025 01:33 PM by Silver Shadows

I base it off norse mythology. Sometimes random, sometimes organized. For example my alpha male is always called Odin! I also name most of my battle wolves after battle gods and my studs after the gods of fertility :)

I've been using old rock songs to name my wolves. But sometimes I'll name the wolves with the theme of the rest of my pack

I pick a theme each game year, and name any keepers based off that theme. For example; I have a mountain theme this game year. So I have wolves named Shasta, Everest, Ortler, etc.

Sometimes from what I'm reading, sometimes what they look like.
