BORN AGAIN Plot An advancement in science has produced some of the most exciting pushes in humanity in recent years - cloning. While scientists, and mostly private companies, have been able to obtain close replicas using existing descendants related to their desired species, they have finally, and successfully, created the first carbon copies of their first experiments - the Dire Wolf. Bringing this species back to life was a huge milestone after about fifty years of consistent experiements and the discovery of more fossils. People doubted the teams working on such a project, convinced that there were larger things to worry about. But nontheless, it worked, and it definitely is an event to be mentioned in future history books. However, what happens when these apex predators are released into the wild? The idea was simple - release about seven wolves into Yellowstone in hopes of studying their behavior and interaction with your average wolf species. This, despite the hopeful response, was the exact opposite - a disaster. These wolves managed to not only escape their facility they were being held at, but because of the remote location of said facility, they were almost impossible to track. Roughly ten wolves, all reborn in a new world that may not accept them, roam the unfamiliar wilderness after ten thousand and then some years of not walking on planet Earth. How will they adjust to a foreign world? |

Im asking for at least 250 words per response. Obviously more is welcome, but I'm hoping this would be enough to keep things moving and at a considerable pace. Your sheets should also reflect this! -
Do not join just to not post. If you can post once a week, then you're in. If you feel like you can not meet that requirement, either don't join or notify me. Id also like it if you state that you're no longer interested, will be going on a hiatus, etc. Communication is important! -
These should all really go without saying but; No OP characters, flawless characters, characters that are constantly stealing the spotlight, etc. It's quite annoying. -
Characters should have at least 3-4 strengths and weaknesses. -
Be inclusive of everyone. This should be a laid back, fun RP for everyone to get to know one another and to indulge in the world our characters are thriving in. -
I am only allowing one character per person, but based on interest, this can change. -
Not necessarily a rule, but always leave a suggestion if you have one! I love things like worldbuilding and it's exciting when others are just as invested as I am in something. -

BORN AGAIN Dire Wolf Info [following information found online + with my own twists for fun] The Dire Wolf, originally an extinct species of canine, has been resurrected in the near future. While the extinct wolves were roughly the same size as the modern gray wolf, this time around, they are much different. Standing at almost four and a half to five feet depending on gender, they appear mostly the same as the common wolf today. These canines have quite broad heads and longer snouts and large jaws. Their claws and teeth are a bit overgrown, allowing for better speed and grasping on to prey while hunting. Their coloring varies on region and where they may be from, but since these lab-grown pups are from the same areas, most are gray, black, white, with the occassional brown fella. Contrary to belief, the Dire Wolf rarely ever traveled or lived in packs, but rather had yearly hunting rituals that allowed for them to all join together as one. Very rarely would one discover these beasts all together consistently. They are very territorial and are protective of what they believe is theirs. Their heirarchy when in these groups are mostly based on what is seen today - dominance. A role of age also plays a part as well some scientists have noted. However, roaming the new wilderness, they are not worried about their ranks - just how to survive. Breeding patterns is similar to modern wolves, though normally only have 1-4, rarely more, due to the sheer size of pups and the limited resources that the ancestrial wolves had. It is possibly that now - after cloning - that they can have more, though this has yet to be proven. Also, each wolf is tattooed with a specific order of a letter and numbers. They use 'F' and 'M' for female and male respectfully, followed by the number of the month they were born (example: 01 or 12), the number they were out of their litter (1, 2, 3, 4), and their cage number (any number between 1 and 50). This is found on the inside of their back leg or in their ears, sometimes both. For example: M03429

The humans will refer to them using these. Sometimes, most likely a young individual who may be shadowing at the Pit or going through an internship, may assign names but they never stick and they prefer not to name them to prevent people from getting attached. Remember, the wolves are experiments. World The wolves managed to escape from the company facility, also known as the Pit. The Pit is located in a remote forest in the pacific northwest with high prey and predator population. The wolves will have the ability to wander pretty much anywhere, though the chance of humans, especially from the Pit, are high. The most common prey would be things like deer, rabbits, sometimes smaller animals such as a squirrel. The other animals that roam the forest include raccoons, birds - such as bald eagles and owls, skunks, bats, and sometimes the bighorn sheep depending on your current region. Other larger predators include grizzly bears and cougars. |

Isa Female | 2.3 y/o | Dire Wolf Serial Number: F020111 Appearance: Personality: Isa is the embodiment of instict and primal drive, a constant force completing important tasks. Her skills are unmatched and her tongue is sharp, one that could be offensive yet truthful. With a blunt mouth and a driving work ethic, Isa is confident in herself to a point that it may seem egotistical. You can tell by how high she holds her head and how how hears point forwards, her footsteps light and nimble and her eyes narrowed in on her next location. She tends to be a bit reserved however, mostly standoffish and is quie apathetic to those around her. Perhaps she is selfish, though she does not always think about herself. She has a witty though process - one that works well under high amounts of stress - and is useful in conflicts. Isa is considered to be rude, egotistical, and a brat, but beneath this, she has a bit more of a softer, nuturing side. She seems to be like a younger sister - willing to go on adventures and try new things. Isa is rather outgoing, always looking for something to keep herself busy, even if it isn't "fun". She's a bit of a tease - and a flirt - though her emotions are not what they seem to be most of the time. That being said, she beats around the bush most times in regards of her true feelings. While she may enjoy your company and say flirtacious things, that does not mean she would pursue something with you. She's always been open for things, but has yet to truly commit, and she's unsure she ever will. She does not like the idea of being tied down as her soul is as free as can be. | APPEARANCE | base credits: TNRwolf [TH], designed by me. Of a rather formidable 5ft and 165lbs, the brute proudly displays a blended pelt of various blacks, browns, and warm gray tones. His markings are only truly visible within the direct sunlight; shadows making him appear to be just a solid black wolf. With a darker face and lighter underbelly, mottled flecks of brunette fur surrounding, Bane blends into his new surroundings effortlessly. His fur is medium in length, longer tufts branching out along his joints and vital organs for extra insulation and protection during disputes. Tall ears poke out from feathered fur, always indicative to how he’s truly feeling. In the dark, Bane’s only true defining feature is his deep amber gaze- never afraid to bore into your soul.
| PERSONALITY | Much debate can arise from the topic of Bane’s personality as it greatly differs depending on whom he’s conversing with. Oftentimes he’s seen as stoic, a rational brute who doesn’t seem to contain much of an active imagination; a bit of an ass. He can be short-tempered but it’s near-always internalized, anger never outwardly spoken unless you’ve really pissed him off. Stubborn as a mule, he’s known as the type to hold grudges; Bane isn’t against slowly picking apart someone’s life until it collapses. He’s calculative, cold, and can be a bit manipulative if he finds someone for him to push around- impeccably silver tongued. He has quite a curious mind, but never voices the questions which arise in fear of being looked down on, or considered “unintelligent”. Insecurity is perhaps the biggest flaw this brute contains; hidden deep under layers of feigned confidence which he displays outwardly. However, to some Bane appears in an entirely different light. He’s quiet yet thoughtful, always pensive about something or the other no matter how insignificant; a compassionate ruffian with a soft side for deep contemplation. He’s an enjoyer of the small things in life, the ripple of the moon’s light reflecting on the river, the bee’s gentle embrace of a flower’s petals in the spring. He’s always been the type to get lost in such miniscule beauties, rooting from his days stuck in four barred metal walls. Perhaps that moment in his life has given him a finer view on such things; or perhaps it’s made him all the more cruel. | DISPOSITION | He contains a soulful and grim disposition, often appearing broody or comtemplative.

He's often intimidating enough to scare off whatever creature's trying to steal his prize. ✩ Bane is incredibly calculative, often thinking things through more than the average male. This can be very useful in high-stress situations as he's able to remain calm and debate his next course of action. ✩ His confidence, although exaggerated, is one of his finest strengths. He's able to talk himself out, or into nearly anything by purely acting confident. While some would consider this manipulative, Bane considers it a useful strategy. ✩ The brute contains a surprising amount of stamina for a large wolf, not easily winded or fatigued while others may need to rest more frequently. | WEAKNESSES | ✩ Due to his mid-size weight, he doesn't contain the same amount of force as the larger dire wolves or predators. The wolf must rely on other strategies when encountering beasts larger than him. ✩ While he does have enough agility to hold his weight against larger foes, he's not nearly lean enough to keep up with smaller wolves or predators; often seen as slow and clumsy in comparison. ✩ He has a tendency to be over-protective of those he forms bonds with, often treating them as if they're made of glass. While this could be considered a good thing; he takes it to new levels and has risked his life to protect others he barely knows. ✩ Bane suffers from chronic pain due to joint issues; likely a result of being confined in a crate for a good chunk of his life. Due to this, he may be a bit slow or distracted at times.
