After an apocalypse that wiped out most, if not all life on Earth, the first signs of life returning begin. The vegetation is plentiful, and any man-made structures have been reclaimed by nature. Wolves are among the first predators to return, with plenty of prey animals already. The wolves are almost the same as those from before the apocalypse, minus the size difference. These wolves are massive, with a whopping average of 50 inches at the shoulder. A small pack has formed with the few wolves in the world, and now they must learn how to live for the time time over again. Will they live and become the oldest known generation in the future, or will they die and kill of their species forever?
Information
The wolves vary in all colors. As stated, the average for these wolves is 55 inches at the shoulder, and between 6 and 8 feet long. Females have a smaller build and are much more agile than males, except for a few rare ones who top the male average. The males are massive and built for brute strength, but they aren't very fast. Their prey consists of roosevelt elk, black tail and whitetail deer, rabbits, and other small rodents. Their home is located in a forest with a rocky overhang, and just outside of the forest is a meadow. A river runs through the forest, not far from their dens. Alpha wolves are the most dominant wolves, they care for the pack and don't necessarily have to be mates. Subordinate wolves are the weakest in the pack, they are in charge of looking after any pups. Characters can be between the ages of 2-9, anyone older than 6 is consider an elder.
