I'd recommend checking out dawnthieves for wolf refs!

Also, if you didn't know, you can type -"any word" into google to toggle out certain things. I find -"ai" -"stablediffusion" -"craiyon" -"dreamstime" -"freepik" tends to catch most of it!

From what I remember you either had to make both wolves alphas to breed them together or get someone you really trust to help you breed them! Mind you, my memory isn't the greatest so I could be misremembering things, but wow! Things really have changed a lot since I've last played!

Before the update you couldn't breed wolves in your own pack together at all

@Bunni

I thought you could before but you had to put a wolf up for stud first in order to do so? Unless I'm misremembering what older WP was like

You can breed within your pack now?? Not just with you alphas?

I've been lucky enough to hoard real wolf photographs I used as art references before the AI boom, but trying to look for more images that aren't AI generated is almost impossible now no matter how I phrase my search request. Honestly such a pain...

Reaper, I don’t mind the flax pelt. But it needs to have the perfect markings to make it look any good.
Plague looks sort of okay on her. I’ll see what I want to do haha

I can try and dig through the AI for you to send you some refs if you'd like! :0

I've also got a few older pixels I could send if that would help at all.

It takes so much longer to find references now thanks to AI :')

the paleoart community is immune to ai art because all it does is generate Jurassic park ripoff monstrosities that are easy to spot from miles away

What happens when a wolf gets an injury? Do they die? Does it heal or stay there forever?

All an injury does to a wolf is cause it to deal half the damage it normally deals to prey and enimies in explore. (For example, your wolf will deal 15 damage if it normally deals 30.) It won't kill them.

However, an injury will stay until you heal it. You can heal injuries with one of the three types of healing potions: red heals infected wounds, yellow heals broken tails, and green heals injured paws. You get healing potions by crafting them out of the herbs you find in explore or buying them out of people's market dens. You can also use a robin feather to heal injuries, those heal any type and brings your wolf's health to 100. You get those by chasing off the birdwatcher in the forest or buying them from people's market dens.

Hope this helps. ^^
