Welcome to Silly's Slime Shop!

You walk along the cobblestone road, a cool breeze sweeping past you. It's noticeably quieter around here. You haven't yet explored this part of the village. There are a few shops along the sides of the road but most are closed or abandoned. Then you notice one shop lit up from inside. You walk up to the door and see the, rather old, wooden sign hanging on the door. 'Silly's Slime Shop' it says. You smile at the name and step inside. It's dim and cluttered. "Hello?" You call out. A figure appears from behind a stack of boxes and papers. "Oh, hello there!" The short man waddles up to you, a pile of papers in his arms. "A new customer!" he exclaims. He gathers up the papers in one arm and sticks the other out for you to shake. "I'm Silly! My brother, Bloop, is in the back, he's feeding the slimes."
You frown in confusion. "Slimes..?"
"Oh yes, slimes! Such cute but feisty companions! Slimes can help you out in many ways, especially if you decide to go explore the Dark Forest." Silly continues to talk about slimes but you can't seem to keep up with what he's saying. Silly notices the lost look on your face and turns light pink. "I just love slimes so much, my brother and I are somewhat experts when it comes to them. I get rather excited though and tend to ramble on," he says apologetically. "Here, there should be a paper around here all about slimes." You're very interested in what he has to say and to learn about slimes so you continue to talk to him.

Slimes
Slimes, also known as Blobs, are exactly what they sound like. They are small bloops of slime! They come in a range of different colours and have their own strengths, weaknesses and personalities! Some even look a little strange. Each slime has a special power, usually connected to an element. Lots of slimes might have similar powers to one another. Slimes are genderless.

At Silly and Bloop's shop, they look after slimes for a number of reasons: to sell, take care of injured ones or even to keep as their own little companion. They currently only have one special little slime buddy, Pepper.
