Tuarak galloped though the shadows of the night, her paws barely grazing the ground. The forest was silent, except for the small chirping of the crickets every few minutes. The breeze was slow hat night, barely rippling her fur as she continued onward, to the edge of a cliff. The moon was high, rising right above Taurak's head. A howl made her freeze and turn around, looking all over the valley with her green-gold gaze. It came from the west side of the valley, right across from her. She turned and headed back into the forest before running down the valley slope. |
