Wolf Play : Where to find the feathers and what they do

So is it normal to get a good little chunk of land on explore that you cant get to?? I've double checked to make sure I'm not just overlooking but I cant find the tile that will let me into that section.

Toucan Feather ~ give to a female in labor, pups are born instantly

Roadrunner Feather ~ give to a single wolf, takes away half their dominance

Mountains

Bald Eagle Feather ~ rates your wolf in howling, wrestling, and disposition

Tundra

Snowy Owl Feather ~ five additional battle damage for the next 20 moves

Ptarmigan Feather ~ give to a prego wolf, slightly increases the chance of getting dynamic pup(s)
